I'm not sure any other Acapella group can out sing Pentatonix, they have put in so much work over the years combined with their talent they are just top tier.
I had the pleasure of attending, at least 10 Queen concerts back in the day. Queen never did the "Opera" portion of Bohemian Rhapsody. The fact the PTX does this live and flawlessly, is amazing. Great reaction btw.
I haven't seen any. What I've read however was Queen did so many overlaying in the studio recording that it was hard for them to replicate live in concerts
I have seen them do this live from the front row, and I was still speechless after seeing this video for the first time. I swear, Mitch is just perfection. I love them all. This group is my all time favorite. Thanks, Zack, for reacting so quickly!
Their maturity and confidence raises this to a new level. They upgraded themselves again. Less than two months when I can celebrate my birthday at their Christmas concert!
New, slower version that strays a bit more from Queen’s, but they’ve earned that right by now. You could tell how hard they were concentrating to get the timing just right. To my amateur ear, I thought this one was easier to pick out individual lines and with five fine voices, that’s a big bonus. I’ll be listening to this one again and again. It’s lovely.
Boy, you have jumped on the last couple of PTX releases really fast! Appreciate your staying on top of them like that! And the song sounds amazing! Even though I've heard their version of BoRhap many times in reactions, it's a lot easier to pick someone's voice out in this one and see exactly how complicated those parts can be! I agree - You can't see her feet for her pant legs, but I think Kirstie's in sneakers or flats, given the size difference between her and Mitch, which is supposed to be about 6". It was one thing I noticed on the live Hallelujah they did a few weeks ago - she wasn't wearing heels in that one, either!
It's great to hear their mature voices doing these older arrangements! From their I G post last week, it looks like this and the new live Hallelujah were recorded at the same time, and that they will eventually also release new similar live versions of Sound of Silence and the Daft Punk medley. Looked like they also recorded a version of the Taylor Swift medley that they performed during summer tour. And Christmas tour is starting in less than a month. Doesn't look like a new Christmas album this year, but we can hope for a couple new songs in this same vein. They apparently recently signed with Republic Records, so this may be the reason for no new album at this time--not enough lead time with a new deal.
Just saw them live for the 4th time and when they are all so amazing and Mitch is my favorite, sitting second row, KO works harder then any of them! I couldn't keep my eyes off of him!❤
Thank you thank you. Listened to this a few hours ago on their channel. You are so appreciated. They are absolutely stunning. Greetings from South Africa
Thanks for the reaction. Something is brewing.. 2 years ago, Ptx 's label dropped their non Christmas songs but owned the rights to them. They just signed up to the same record label as Angelina Jordan. They are currently redoing their non Christmas songs. Expect The sound Of Silence n others to follow suit. And also Taylor Swift Medley.
Mitch might be the reincarnation of Freddie Mercury. Freddie died in November 1991 and Mitch was born in July 1992. He can obviously also grow the Freddie mustache.
Im really loving these live versions. I feel it really lets matt shine. When we comapre matt to other bass singers he gets less spotlite. Think about avi and how many moments can you name avi tim or geoff they all had tons of moments and while matt has a few in many songs it because of there new mainstream postproduction style matt often becomes less noticable and gets pess time but with live covers we really get to hear him and he really stands out
Sorry to be back. Just learned Pentatonix is dropping a new song 1November. Then, you haven't done one of - ok all PTX is my favorite: COME ALONG. AGAIN GREETINGS FROM SOUTH AFRICA

@@Ki-ik3vI love Forestella’s version too! But I LOVE to see PTX put out something new!! It’s been too long!💜💜💜
I don't think you've reacted to Making Christmas from a Nightmare Before Christmas, so perfect time since it's spooky season!
I'm not sure any other Acapella group can out sing Pentatonix, they have put in so much work over the years combined with their talent they are just top tier.
They've actually perfected their rendition of this song. So glad they released it on vid for those of us who've not been able to see them live yet

I've seen them in concert ten times since 2013 and they just keep getting better and better.
Their voices and talent have grown and matured so much over the years. They are better than ever.
Blown away. I have no idea where Kirstie has time to breathe in any of this. O.o

That's some CRAZY vocal talent on display!!
🌟PENTATONIX is ABSOLUTELY THE GREATEST 🌟
Great reaction to this beautiful Pentatonix live performance. Thank you.
They are just amazing! Love your reactions

Shoulder pads are the perfect accompaniment to the song!

Thanks Zack - as you said, the arrangement is so complex and this version is so clean/perfect. ☮

Wow -- Great!!

Fabulous, and I like Mitch’s homage to Alexis Carrington. It’s the Serta theory of fashion. Peace … (And way to jump right on this one!)
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Amazing live. Love your reaction ❤❤❤❤❤

Dan Vasc did the BEST version of this cover, in my opinion. This was great as well.

Matt’s base
The way you’re talking, it gave me the impression you haven’t seen their original music video for this somehow. (If so, I highly recommend it lol!)
you know kirstin is married right
Yes I do, why do you ask?
She catches my eye as well, and I even know she has a little girl, too!
The base of Kirstie's sneakers are quite thick, so she still has elevation. Mitch's shoes with the pointed toes look very uncomfortable to me.
mitch carried
I understand that the host has not heard other performances...🤣🤣🤣 It's far from the BEST!
