I am a 2nd generation Armenian American. My family has lived in the US since about 1900. I've not had an opportunity to travel to our homeland but these videos are giving me a lot of insight and motivation to get to Armenia sooner than later.
Can't believe I spent 3 weeks in Yerevan, mostly chasing my and my daughter's passports at "Ovir" when this place was 20 meters from where I rented an apartment! I heard great stories about the place, but thought I had seen it all. Thanks for this good coverage!
@@livinginyerevan Anthony jan , thank you so much for such an informative and festive video. .Great job and you are a real pro ! I wish you all the best in 2023 P.S.By the way, in Yerevan you look almost like a local🤔😁 ... ՇՆՈՐՀԱՎՈՐ ՆՈՐ ՏԱՐԻ :🎅💌💥💥💥
Hello and thank you for the videos I really enjoy watching them, if you could please make videos in Charbakh area, Dirvesh and Orinj areas i used to live there when I was a kid. Thank you
There didn't appear to be any stalls selling the amazing Armenian rugs. You should find some of the stores that sell Armenian rugs. They are among Armenia's most famous handcrafted items. Have you been to the Megerian warehouse/museum? You can actually watch the people weaving the rugs on a large scale. The Megerians took over the Soviet-run factory and they sell rugs online as well as at the warehouse.
Have you had time to visit the Children's Art Museum on Abovyan? It's another amazing place. Ask for Anuhid Harutyunyan, the director. Tell her that Mark from Seattle says hello.

What does EU flag and american flag along side Armenian flag mean, don't get it?
Iran stands more with us than both america and EU. Why don't you have their flag?

Good catch! Thanks for clarifying this one, I appreciate it since I’m not an expert by any means in regards to US currency!

How easy is it to speak to the vendors if you only speak English?
It’s pretty easy if you’re only an English speaker, many of the vendors do know English or enough to communicate with you.
Do you bargain?
