I really love how the Hallucinations show the Mental health of Moxie and Blitzo and their approach to figure out their issues.
Both have issues but Moxie precisely thinks on and asks what the issue is, while Blitzo is like his brain is just throwing everything he doesnt wanna hear on the faces of friends and enemies alike to try and get it through to him.
Such a good Episode
I feel like moxxie's trip was a ''what he wants to happend'' and blitzo's trip was a ''what i think is happening'' wich is basically a ''what i think they are thinking'' basically his insecurities manifesting in a whole. is really same problem in different perspectives, and its super interesting how both cope with their problems
It really shows what giving Vivziepop’s crew 2 extra months to release this REALLY did for this episode. The animation was obviously so much more fluid and it makes it so nice to look at. Watching Millie just dance with that battle axe and Stolas’ appearance were wins in this episode. Definitely worth the wait, and if we didn’t see another episode until December holiday season, I’d be fine if it has the same quality as this one!
I also believe this is the first episode they've produced since they got the full approval and funding for Hazbin Hotel to be made into a full TV series. Since they have that, well, they don't have to worry about UA-cam's monetization anymore, so they could go all-out and not worry about keeping up with the algorithm.

I love the fact Blitzo is in a clown outfit at the beginning of his trip and his forehead symbol is a broken heart but turns into his normal symbol and outfit when he begins to go towards Stolaz. That and the shackles that appear show that he wants to be close to Stolaz but worries about the effect it will have on him, trap him under the control of someone else. It blends in well with his trips theme of closeness and selfsabotage. Moxxie looked distrubingly good dresses like Stolaz' wife Stella :)

20:50 Is a show of how absolutely terrifying demons are. Stolas 100% demon form is fucking terrifying.
It also shows that the more powerful a demon is, the more terrifying their form is.
Katie was just two extra legs and pointy hands, this mf transformed into a whole ass owl demon thing. Imagine Lucifer or Charlie's 100% demon form.
I feel that i/when Hazbin comes about, part of how Charlie becomes more respected/serious is her becoming willing to throw down when needs be. She can still use peaceful methods, but her efforts would be a lot more successful IF she can gain the respect/authority the princess of hell should have

I like the fact that Verosika was one of the manifestations in Blitzo's hallucination. It seems to hint they had a much more detailed past than what he let on in episode 3. Perhaps some lingering feelings? I'd be interested to see her come back in the future and their past get more fleshed out.

I love the hallucination scene because it's clearly a callback to Disney (Moxie's trip) vs Don Bluth (Blitzo's trip)
Yeah, sorry, looks like I was talking out my ass. Don Bluth never used rubber hose-style animations, which is what Blitzo's trip resembles most in terms of looks. I was thinking of Fleisher Studios, which produced cartoons such as Betty Boop and Popeye the Sailor.
I'm gonna go on a limb here and say that this had to be one of the best episodes. The fight choreography from that 'insane' fight scene was amazing. And Stolas' entrance looked as though it was from a horror movie.

I take it you're not translation purists then, because even the crassest Japanese speakers don't get anywhere near the level of this. That wonky and "cringe" dialogue you tend to see in more accurate subs really is what they're saying; Japan just genuinely thinks that's what's cool, and that's why it doesn't work in dubbed form.
