I like that Loona wasn’t in Blitzo’s hallucination. Sure, she can be cruel to him but he doesn’t regret adopting her.
I don't this his trip was regrets about having persoanl connections. More like how he pushes others away and come off as a jerk to them until they hate/dislike him

Stolas not murdering the two actually made sense. Stolas is based on an Ars Goetia demon of the same name, who is described as very peaceful, only being brutal when necessary.
He's also described there as a demon prince taking the form of an owl with long legs who teaches astronomy and is knowledgeable about herbs, plants, and precious stones. So pretty on point for what we know of him in the show.
Also as pointed out in other comment sections, the sigil used in the summoning ritual for Stolas's arrival scene is actually Stolas's seal glyph in the original documentation of demons.
So.... he wouldn't straight kill me if summoned.... interesting

I mean Asmodeus was basically king Solomon's bro, helping him build the great temple of Jerusalem and impersonating him so that the real one could travel around learning stuff while he took care of his job as king for some years.

I also find it funny how they talked over the line where Blitz says his name while they're wondering what his name is
I heard it I thought but have been playing in bands since 2008 so my hearing is not the best. I also have a really crap memory do to medical weed us and concussions. Stuff is lost on me lol.

You're sorta right when saying they've not been shown to be actually affectionate yet. Stolas has been shown to be so but Blitzo was stand-offish. Even in last ep when we see them in bed post-coitus, Blitzo was NOT really affectionate.
This is first time we see Blitzo be affectionate for Stolas. And it wasn't just in that last scene. In Blitzo's hallucination we can see how he really feels about Stolas with how others were covered in blood/goo Stolas was pristine, golden
@Necliea Rain I gotta agree. The chains were rather complicated to dechypher as they could mean several things. It could represent being used or connections to Stolas or to sex games they play (I'm going with deeper meaning though lol) but it IS rather telling that when they appear, they are golden and 'wipe away' the grime and filth that was there before. His clown outfit disappears when the chains manifest as well.
It's like even though he feels the connection to Stolas may be binding, it's a purer manifestion than what was in the past.
Also telling is Stolas' position: pristine steps leading to a high state, as if its path leading up out the depth of despair

She wanted to create a show not a lot of people wanted to make revolving demons and Hell, making a really good series along with a hopefully just as good main series. i mean, come on: if this is how Helluva Boss looks like, think how Hazbin Hotel will look like!?

Who's Luna
This episode showed us the somewhat true power of the higher ups of the hell heiarchy. ie; Charlie, Alastor, Stolas, etc... Like straight terrifying. I try to see how I can tie things into Hazbin Hotel when I watch Helluva Boss. So excited for when it comes out.

Having seen Stolas really let loose... it's interesting to note that he still seems to be afraid of 'getting in trouble'. The real question is, 'getting in trouble' with _whom,_ and what can _they_ do?

I loved the fight scene and especially the background music. You can hear musical cues for each character when they are on screen. Luna has a early 2000s rock video to her music, Millie has a western theme, and moxie and blitz had a classic rock theme

In the Pilot Episode, Stolas tells Blitz(o) that he has Associates on Earth with political influence.
Probably why he didn't seem to be worried about erasing the tapes.

I've been rewatching okd reactions to the earlier episodes during the lull between seasons and thoroughly enjoyed this one. Obe thing in this episode that stood out at the time, and which still does is the huge jump in animation quality. The final fight against all the agents was just jaw dropping, and easily on par with any professionally produced series out there. Also, Stolas' manifestation in the human realm was truly startling- he possessed the bodies of the dead agents to draw a summoning circle and then used Agent 2 as a gateway, revealing his monstrous true form to us for the very first time. Unexpected and so creative. Thank you for continuing to cover this series and I look forward to watching with you when season 3 drops! 🤘

Stolas was my favorite character after the song he sang in episode 2, but this just cemented his place in my heart.
But Moxxie is the most relatable character for me, by far.
reason stolas didn't kill them is simple he can't there laws between heaven and hell that stop rulers from getting involve personally they can only influence.
He's also said to be one of the kinder Goetia Demons

you two seen "universe size comparison 3d" or "the universe is way bigger than you think" yet, it's a fun watch if you want to feel insignificant :)
Blitz's hallucination music at the beginning was a variant of Led Zepplin's "Dazed & Confused", and the art style was similar to Pink Floyd - The Wall. Both fantastic references.

Murder Family died, Verosika's still working across from them in the same building, Stryker's in the wind, CHERUB is trapped on Earth and blames IMP for their situation, Robo Fizzarolli was eaten by a dragon and liked it, yeah that was a pretty good prediction. We know it was wrong now, but it was a solid premise.
Murder Family could find IMP if they saw an ad, Veronika is prob gonna be in the upcoming Lust Ring ep, Striker's gonna try to take Stolas' life again, the cherubs can come into play on earth, and RoboFizz is part of a line of robotic versions of FizzaRolli, meaning the real one or another robot could be a threat.

@@47ratsinahoodie Oh, I see. I assumed they were just talking about this episode with their prediction. I was trying to say it made sense why they had thought it would happen now, even though it didn't, rather than saying it would never happen.
I havent seen anyone mention this. The episode ends with the agents having evidence recorded on camera. But the episode also began with them watching recorded footage they had already. Maybe theyre referring to something specific like the opening of the portal. Or maybe its just because the other footage was from less reliable sources.
It was the physical evidence of the massacre and the agemcy would care
Loona is technically the most powerful member of IMP. As a Hell Hound, she is one rung above the others in Hell’s Heirarchy, And is the only one capable of using Stolas’ book (for whatever reason, imps don’t seem to be capable of magic). It’s not confirmed, but it’s even possible Loona might be immune to conventional means of killing, unlike imps who seem vulnerable to all but fire.
I’m glad I’m not the only one who noticed that they’re constantly making new enemies!
There’s the cherubs, Verosika, the dhorks, striker, even fizzeroli (he may have survived being eaten), and the murder family (we never actually see them die, just a blown up teddy bear)
I feel like it’ll become some sort of legion of doom.

This was definitely their Fooly Cooly (FLCL Anime) episode, They got a chance to experiment with different and upgraded animation styles and keep the story rolling and compelling. I absolutely love this episode I’d put it as my top 4th favorite episode.

@@count-countess8464 Fair, and I am aware of his peaceful nature it just seems like this would have serious knock on effects. If not death, then in the health department at least. She just seems to shrug and move on in the episode. Also, seeing her in a cone of shame in her next appearance would be hilarious. Especially if Loona sees her like that. (it's spelled Goetia, by the way)

And everyone is twisted in their own ways even the beings that were from heaven. That’s part of the point I think. Humans arent always good just bc they are human. (That was a prominent message in the Murder Family episode and it’s how Moxxie got more used to their job as a whole) And a sin isn’t always just murder. If they’re going off the actual bible then a sin can literally be mixing fabrics. It’s a complex thing that isn’t black and white.
