One of the most beautiful and epic moments in the game and not mitigated at all by the fact that the whole thing is basically a very glorified boot-up sequence for a pair of computers. THAT'S how good it is!
this song is beautiful up to 1:20 is used in the lymph tower on tonelico is just so beuatiful and so are the lyrics thatnks for uploading this beautiful piece of hymn
Sorry, spelling mistake, salute and show my respect to this unique and great singer, the other remarkable singer comparable to her is Mari Boine. Both of them have such penetrating voices with high clarity and amazing characteristics in it. Want to hear more of them singing.
@phiphinyan WOA! You are one of the translator? Thanks alot for translating these awesome songs from this awesome game. I wish I could learn Hymnos like you guys.
hey sorry for being late with the like and compliment but anyway i LOVE this song soooooo beautiful and the game was epic i cried during it though espicially when i got the bad ending nuuuuu anyway back on track thank you sooooo much for uploading this vid and once again i loved it
@NatakuGundam15 I wish I could have the song cut off like it does in the game and then restart. Somehow it has a sad, beautiful, longing sort of sound to it that way. Alas, youtube does not yet posess that version.
@Zer0Null Why didn't I think about that? I am SO doing that eventually :3 When you can write Pastalia, you kinda have to know the whole background story..... :)
Loved Tyria when she did Halvastashia's check-up. 'Sigh, she's broken I'll have to go to the tower to reboot her. Can't you be more serious? I am flippin serious.' LOL
How can a game with such shitty combat, have such good music and emotional story. God I love this music and this game. God I cried so many times during this game because of either the music or the story ( Finnel when she breaks down in her last chapter really got to me :( )
@chiztrix This isn't an anime, it's a game. It's called Ar Tonelico and this song is from the third game. You should definatly pick this game :) btw this song is godly
+Suki Rutski Akiko Shikata wrote most of the music for the Ar tonelico games. I'm not sure if KOKIA had any hand in the songs she sings for this though.
+The Duck Life No, Akiko Shikata had nothing to do with KOKIA's songs in AT3. They were composed by KOKIA herself and arranged by the famous Masumi Itou.
What Kurogane did to *intentionally* fuck over mankind as a final 'fuck you' our of pure and petty spite earns him him a special place in hell. To wit: - Treating Tyria like garbage and not letting her develop emotions properly. - Rin countless horrible experiments on her... and then get pissed at her and treat her *worse* when she doesn't produce the results he wants. - Schemes to use Tyria as part of his revenge plot by first showing her the kindness and love she dearly wanted... *only to prove it was all bullshit once she begins to sing Rebirtha=protocol/. by killing himself IN FRONT OF HER JUST SO SHE'D BECOME TRAUMATIZED THAT SHE WOULD FAIL!* Oh, and his insurance policy? Y'know the Human Evolution Project that Raphael tried pull? That was all Kurogane too... You honestly couldn't get a more disgusting human being than him. Can you really blame (the original) Ayatane and Mir for wanting mankind dead? Well, genocide might be a bit much... but even so... Tyria *DID NOT& deserve the life she got, which is made worse since she's a 'defective' Origin Reyvateil who was dying anyway due to being rushed out eatly with crappy parts... (Fortunately solved in post AT3 novels.
Probably its a bit late to comment now, since the one who hear this already comment 1-5 years ago since this vid uploaded, but yeah I'm surprised that japan has this kind of singer, and well u know all the AT song wasnt bad

Only if you don't take in account all the other stuff the song already did on its failed first execution.
Finally played AT 1 and 2. nice to see how they all connect. and it clears up so many plot holes.
To be fair what you may consider plotholes in AT3 aren't really plotholes if said plotholes are explained in the previous games.
wait till you find out about the other towers they never got to show
@@realsporks it was a very emotional experience. 1 was definitely the hardest
This game has amazing combat, story telling and music. I'm glad i manage to finish the story since its release on PS2.
Kokia and her beautiful voice and opera training....*sighs*
So pretty >___
tyria is my fave of the three orgins i love her first line "i would like fried bread" (ok so technicly it is not her first line)
this song is beautiful up to 1:20 is used in the lymph tower on tonelico is just so beuatiful and so are the lyrics thatnks for uploading this beautiful piece of hymn
Finally finished playing through the game and got the good ending (Finnel Route), now to do Saki and Tyria's routes and get the good endings there.
The beginning of this song sounds so much like the Velvet Room in Persona...except much lighter in tone. So beautiful!
Sorry, spelling mistake, salute and show my respect to this unique and great singer, the other remarkable singer comparable to her is Mari Boine. Both of them have such penetrating voices with high clarity and amazing characteristics in it. Want to hear more of them singing.
I find myself singing the beginning melody from time to time, I wish I could listen to this on Spotify ;-;
hahahahaha I'm really surprised to find this almost a year later after it's been posted. ^ ^ I'm glad someone did a video of my co-translation!
Less than a month and then we can play it! I can't wait!

@calebXcouture It is set as being released Q2 2011 for the US
Epic!

Who else cheered when Tyria pwned and killed Bitchy Harvy like it was nothing?

Beat, stutteringly, my heart.
Flow, gently, my tears.
For this beauty calls for naught less than joyful movement.
Indeed. *sips tea*

Tilia sacrificed and green returned to the world again.I think that it is better than cosmoflips.
+Sue Wei Though the feelings (stories) contained in both songs can't be described in any other way aside of "macabre".
Welcome to velvet room.
Anyone else reminded of the Velvet Room?
You are not alone in this
yes!! I knew i had heard that before
yeah the beginning sure sounds like it lol
@aeromorte Well, you CAN make first two games run on PC... In fact, this is how I played them. Emulation FTW!
A beautiful song indeed.
Well, maybe it's too late. But you can change "ō" with "ou".
Japan...
Most of the time they come up with weird things... But their are those moments where they came up with something like this...
....Kind of an asshat statement, but that's fine, you probably meant well...
thought there was something wrong with my disc when i went into the area the first time
Who is the composer and song writer for this may I ask.

+aquagon_drag Huh, the more you know.
All songs of Tilia are sung by Kokia and there is a huge chance they are composed by her as well. Arrangement done by someone else.
@popstarcandygirl really? I both like their styles.
@brady6723 damn if only the games were on pc i would get every version possible ... still nice upload
