It is time to finish up this Ford Focus build. There is a bit of non-accident related work to do before it is ready to sell so we will get that done as well. We answer the most important question of any build... what's in my console. These small jobs on cheap cars always have a high return on investment. I wish I could stumble across more deals like this. #collisionrepair #boringbuildfriday #Ford - Авто та транспорт
Hopefully Mr. Spotty has good insurance to cover that $900 band aid from the ER lol
And a $2500 ambulance ride! 😝
One time my sister got a $1,200 Band-Aid because she ripped her nose open on a hanging hook at her horse barn
Not even f****** ice just the Band-Aid and no numbing or anything
A F****** BAND-AID
vehcor i buy ambulances for that kind of money! Damn 😯
Was gonna say...I hope he had Aflac!🦆
@@charles.3187 I drove my friend to the ER after she degloved part of her hand and when we ran in the ER the nurse got up with bandaids thinking that would help. The other nurse had some sense and ran my friend back to a room haha. I guess bandaids can fix anything 😂
"Gender neutral shift juice", made my boring build Friday day!!!
Thanks!
Ok.. that was the funniest one yet!
AKA Bruce Jenner fluid :D
Fse 😂💯
Love it, gender neutral shift juice, must ask for that next time am at the parts store
Just trying to be PC. 😂
@@vehcor 🤣🤣🤣 PC, does that mean Partially Correct?
@@dave_n8pu Politically Correct which should not be confused with partially correct because it is usually in no way correct.
@@vehcor I know being P C is so damned hard being 14 at dads service station in the 60's you learned things that are tough to unlearn.
@@dave_n8pu yes, that's the partial answer, you earned a C
Maybe leave Mr Spotty inside a door and write “ Somebody’s Been Here”!!! Another quality Boring Build Friday!
I can’t do that to my most faithful employee!
Somewhere in Illinois there's a limping cold Grandma without a walker and a half finished scarf
This is the exact reason I read the comments! 😂😂😂 I am also a bad person for finding that so hilarious!
"Gender neutral shift juice" - classic!!!
🤷🏼♂️😆
I had to check to comments after he said that. lol
I dont think anyone is bothering to swap equipment anymore, no one can make up their damn minds...🎶sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes Ya don't 🎶
Thanks Scott! I was eating when you said that, was. Now after cleaning off the iPad and the dash of my truck, and no I wasn’t driving, parked in a truck stop. How about a disclaimer at the beginning. If you are eating or drinking, stop now, you could accidentally spill your gender neutral shift juice! Thanks again for the laughs and the videos, I always look forward to Friday’s. Dan.
@@gundocC2 I would be happy to warn you but I never really know when the random nonsense that comes out of my mouth will actually be funny. lol
I’m glad to see Mr. Spotty doesn’t have a stunt double, hope he recovers soon lol 😂
He is quite the adrenaline junky off camera! 😂
There's a lot to be learned from these videos. Like I would have never thought you'd spend so much disassembling that door just to blend it in with the rest. But the end result speaks for itself! It may be a boring car but none of your videos are ever boring! Love it!!
I do the job the right way. It doesn’t matter if I am working on a $100k supercar or grandma’s focus. I want a quality product in the end.
Scott you gave that little Focus a new lease on life! It will give it's new owner many miles of great service thanks to your hard work! Looking forward to the next video!
Hopefully it lasts a while with its new 16 year old owner.
everybody should buy cars from you sir. you build them the proper way and more. we need a lot of you out there, or in every shop, thank you for the well job done,
Thanks for the confidence in my work!
Nice build, I'm sure the clean freaks will complain that you didn't clean the bottom of the glass before you put it back in....lol
Thanks, already complaining I didn’t clean the blower motor! 😂
If every rebuilder was as thorough as you there'd be no stigma about rebuilt cars.
I try to explain that there is a right way to fix cars but the media has spent much more time and money to scare people away.
Freakin fabulous Friday Ford Focus finale.
That is way too many “f”s for my little brain! 😆
I love Fridays thanks to you.
Who doesn’t love Fridays? Thanks for watching!
That little Focus is ready to give many more years of service. Another excellent job, Scott.
Thanks, ready to take on a 16 year old driver! 😬
Without a doubt the best re-builder on the web with the absolute best humor. I mean as dry as the Sahara but LOL gut busting funny. But behind all the funny is truly quality work. I would buy one of your rebuilds any day. As good as new maybe better. Solid craftsmanship with wonderful humor!
Great video , car turned out great. Miss the afternoon crew.
Thanks.
The car looks great! Another solid build!
Thanks!
Most excitement Mr Spotty has seen in a while.
He is an adrenaline junky off camera! 😂
Smoke tinted headlights lol.
Good afternoon Scott, that high dollar creeper. And what a payment plan. I just can't believe they didn't want a first born child. Car looks great and is a money maker, with minimum of investment and time. Take care and stay healthy.
It was on sale! 😂I wish I could stumble on more of these deals! Take care!
Mr Spotty flying around and getting stuck under the hood catch was like Gumby. lmao
Or Mr Bill. Lol. We are old! 😂
I picked up an Escort for $50 back when gas was 3.50 a gallon, the hood cable was broken and the owner trusted driving on secondary latch, it didn't go well for him. I had $300 into it, Traded for a 4x4 Ford truck that I put $200 into, ended up making $2500 on the deal! Don't like driving Fords, but don't mind making $ off them!
I did a ton of 91-95 Escorts back in the day. I would pick them up with bad timing belts for $50-100 throw a belt in that I was able to do in 15 minutes and sell them for $2000. I miss those days! Good work on your trade up profits!
i went to america on my holidays in 1991 and petrol was 99cents a gallon
@@mead6754 You can find gas in America for 99 cents a gallon in 2020!
Scott, as mentioned many times, love your work. I wouldn't say you have ADD, in this case Focus!!!!!
Thanks for the support!
Your ADD is calming my OCD
@@vehcor Those people who say you have ADD just can't keep up. You are gifted.
the band-aid on Mr. Spotty had me laughing oout loud, good stuff! On to the next build!
🤕
Keep up the great work....I love watching your vids.
Thanks!
There was a jar of prunes in that console!! He kept that off camera LOL. Looking forward to next Friday!!
The dentures too! 😂
Hey Scott!
The Snap-On creeper comment was priceless! $15 a week for 30 years = $23,400 for that bad boy!
Mr. Spotty taken 1 for the team was epic too. Hope the afternoon crew are well, work safe and enjoy your weekend!
Doug@ the "ranch"
I got the creeper on sale and a “free” hat with it. 😂 Mr. Spotty is a trooper! Take care!
@@vehcor Check out what we do with Fords here in Massachusetts....lol ua-cam.com/video/KR4Nd7fGOHI/v-deo.html
That's the fun thing about body work. Put it together the take it all back apart again. Oh yes and i call the squirters too. Washer nozzles just seems to correct to me :-).
Yeah, people think it is just one and done. I use both terms.
For mild hazed headlight plastic I have found a less labor intensive way to clean them instead of sanding and buffing. Every 6 months or so, I use "OFF" Insect spray that contains DEET (any bug spray brand with DEET in it, will also work). When sprayed onto a no-lint rag, and then wiped and rubbed on the plastic lens surface, the chemical extremely mildly softens the very outer surface of the plastic and allows me to rub the haze away. If you linger too long and wipe the plastic until completely dry, it streaks the plastic. To avoid that, I found it is best to wipe until rag removes the haze, and still glides, and not to wipe until fully dry. When you do it, you will see what I mean. If it does streak, I just do it again and allow the surface to air dry, and the very outer plastic surface hardens again. If the lenses are hazed too far along, this is not adequate. When I do it, it lasts easily 6 months until I get haze again. There are youtube videos on using DEET based bug spray...for the visual on how to do it, if you want an easier way to clean haze from headlights. I enjoy your videos...thank you for making them. Please keep posting!
I have heard that. I have to try it one of these summer nights, two birds. 😂
This is a sign of a true professional, you actually took the hood "rubber baby biggie bumpers" off to paint. So many are just painted over and it looks like crap, little things like that let ya know the rest of the build is genuine.
Hysterical! Awesome result! I loved the walker in the console! Stay safe and have a great weekend!
Thanks, stay safe and healthy as well.
I know nothing about cars but your videos brings some joy to my soul.
Thanks, glad to hear that. Hopefully I can help you learn a bit.
I need that Walker!!! Because I just turned 70 today. I enjoy your work with Mr. Spoty, boy he can sure fly. Need to call him SUPER SPOT!!! THANKS FOR SHARING YOUR EXPERIENCE.
Happy Birthday! 🎉🎂
Not sure if anyone has mentioned this, since we're primarily focused on the builds - but your video editing skills have gotten tight. Especially when you're trying to speed up complicated or time-consuming stuff, like the quick cuts on all those screws in the radiator support. No joke, your vids are looking TV quality.
Thanks, I’ve had some comments on the topic. It is like anything else, you get better with practice. Thanks for the support.
Glad Mr. Spotty does his own stunts!
Great work fantastic comedy. Thanks for sharing your skills.
I did a little investigating, and I discovered that when Mr Spotty went flying by, he didn’t have on his safety superhero cape!!
Not all heroes wear capes!
And not all of us that wear capes, are hero’s!! 😂
Love the non-PC humor. Just be careful the YT brownshirts don't come knocking. Stay healthy, my friend.
I was trying to be pc, I thought I nailed it! 😂
You are a talented man, love your humour too. Very entertaining.
Man if I were closer I’d run my Toyota TRD Rock Warrior up to u. I hit a deer a few weeks ago and really don’t trust anyone to fix it. Lol 😆.
I don’t want to be here either. Maybe I’ll be closer someday if you live in Texas.
Gender neutral shift juice.....that was awesome!
You know what i hate about your damn videos I can't ever find a fucking thing wrong with the way you work. Perfectionist!!!!
I disagree, I didn’t clean the blower motor or bottom of the door glass. I don’t know how anyone can sleep night knowing I do that kind of hack work! 😂
Another fine job
Thanks!
Looks like new. Good job and great video
Thanks!
Hey it's Dr. Vehcor rebuilds! Yheaaa!
I’m trained in first aid too apparently. 😆
Mr. Spotty does all his own stunts.......LOL!!!
He’s an adrenaline junky!
Mr. Spotty, does all his own stunts. You’re on a roll!
This is what happens when I do the voice over at 3:00AM
Mr. Spotty was busy on this build. Personal I like the easy builds.
the cardboard creeper: I've used "official" creepers before and the casters always seem to be in the wrong direction and get caught on divits in the shop floor. Considering I don't have a shop to work in and it's usually out in the parking lot, they always got caught on little pebbles and shit on the ground. Solution? piece of cardboard. You can slide in any direction, no catching on pebbles or divits and when it gets dirty? through it away and get a brand new one.
One trick: if you reuse it make sure you put the ground side down again because it tends to pick up all the sharp little pebbles and they scratch the hell outta your back when you slide around lol
I'm actually kind of surprised someone hasn't marketed a driveway creeper made out of coroplast (plastic cardboard) that's washable.
I like cardboard creepers. The afternoon crew just likes to lay on the ground. Silly softball players just love the dirt!
Exelente work Vehcor greetings
Thanks!
RUBBA BABY BUGGY BUMPA
🙂 That’s how they say it in New England!
Love your channel.
Thanks!
You guys check out my channel geek and son
Another excellent job, do the new buyers get to see these video's prior to purchase, so they know what went into correcting the issues? To my mind it would be a great sales tool.
Thanks, that is actually the main point of all my videos. That’s how I started.
Vehcor you sir are a master of your trade. The car turned out beautiful. I never knew spotty was a stuntman. Lol. Thanks for another great video.
Thanks for the support!
great job I love your sense of humor. better than the competition 👍👍
probably if I do the same job it will take easy 2 months.
I need that walker! 40 years of body work takes its toll! Focus looks good. I have seen fenders with different bolts in every hole. Nothing surprising there.
I’m getting there for the walker! My favorite is non automotive fasteners. Why does every wannabe mechanic think drywall screws should be used on cars? 😂
@@vehcor i have seen drywall screws used to attach a rear bumper on a van , right through the rear evaporator.
Cool!
Thanks
Turned out nice.
Thanks!
Hate to say this, but that car came out looking good!
As good as a baby blue Ford Focus can look any way. 😂
Wooo..Hoooo..Friday and home from work to watch Vehcor. Great job and nice complete. Thanks for sharing. Hope you and the family have a great weekend.
Thanks for the support. You and yours stay safe and healthy!
Thank you very much
@18:39 .. it's a bird it's a plane .. no, it's super Spotty....lol😛
And people thought he just sat there the whole time! 😂
That Console must open onto the Road Flintstone style 👍
Now my week is complete, thanks
No problem. Thanks for watching!
OMG, "gender neutral shift juice" LOL
🤷🏼♂️🙂
Lol
Look great 👍
Thanks
👍😎 she looks fresh even for a ford
Thanks!
Nice job. Once again finished product looks great. I'm sure there are many grannies out there waiting to get their hands on this, especially with the after-market walker accessory. Also, thanks for adding first addition tee-shirts. I'll be style'n them as I'm couped up "sheltering in place."
It will be going full circle to a 16 year old driver. It might be back again. 😂
The walker was a great touch! Good stuff!
I hope so, I had to buy it just for the joke. 😂
@@vehcor Well I would say it was certainly worth it. I always enjoy the videos, thank you.
C4 container...gotta love the gym juice lol
Mr Spotty needs his own T-shirt
He is on one from the Dirtnali build but I will make him his own when I have time. lol
This channel should be a lesson to other YT rebuilders and flippers.........it doesn't always have to be a Merc, BMW, Jag, Porsche, etc....etc...... A healthy sprinkling of Plain Janes makes for good content as well, and make the best flip$$$.
I’ve given up trying to make that point. 😂 I’d take these over a Lamborghini any day. Thanks for the support!
@@vehcor No problem, buddy. Cheers from liberal la la land, Canada.
If Mr.Spotty stays upside-down much longer all the ink is gonna run to his head.. 😉😀
Maybe that is what lead to his poor decision to jump into the blower motor! 😱
@@vehcor lol.... True
Great work and commentary, grandma would be proud
Turned out great as always👍🏻
Thanks!
I like the color of that Focus. Ford also had a light green color on those I liked too.
I’m not a fan of the color. You can’t beat a cheap low mile car, I’ll take any color.
Another Quality and Enlightening Video. Anxiously Awaiting The Next One... 😎
Thanks!
Actually, one of the coolest...not "boring" but "conservative"😁. Appreciate the highest standard of workmanship on all your builds. This car's a gem....
Fantastic video, i love that you show all the steps to the job! Thanks!
Thanks
Thought you may like this. I was watching the Woodworking Art channel and he was making a Ford Raptor the vid is about to end and I look to the right just to see what they had coming up next. I had to look again cause Summit Racing had a ad for rust repair body panels I just thought it was funny. Check him out he's good he's like you just he does it in wood. Now I'll watch the vid I know it going to be good.
Thanks for the support. A wooden Ford might be the only ones that never rust. 😂
Im doing a 08 G6, $200, clean title under 150k miles, bumper cover & reinforcement. 2 recalls but runs great.
I rarely pick up anything with over 100k. The lower miles keeps the price high and sells them fast. Good luck on your project.
These videos make my Friday’s better
Thanks
Good to see you using a jig make sure everything is on speck 👍 body gaps line up better than when it was first built
If the base is off, it makes the gaps harder to get right. A couple extra minutes car save a lot of time in the long run. Thanks for watching.
U'r rebuild videos r absolutely boring but something mysterious is in it that makes it attractive to me!
It probably helps you fall asleep at night. 😂
Car looks good I think your videos just get better and better enjoyed watching keep up the hard work thanks for sharing
Thanks for the support. Like anything else, you improve with practice.
As always a great job!
Thanks!
Nice work
That's actually a pretty good looking little 'econo-box' (I wouldn't want it, but still) I think it's so cool that you fix things the average 'car flipper' wouldn't bother with. (brakes, blower motor)
At this price point, it is function over looks. I like to make sure my buyers have nothing to worry about. It might cost a couple bucks but the referrals and repeat business makes up for it in the long run.
Nice work once again. Thumbs up. The A-Crew must be on vacation. Mr Spotty heal's up really nicely. He must have the best plastic surgeon in town. lol MR Spotty dose his own stunt's lol
Thanks, the afternoon crew is too busy getting chalk all over my driveway to help! 😂
The rear axle drum retainer nuts are pert much one time use. Aftermarket quit making them, so Ford Dealer Only! Reinstalling a worn out nut results in loss of rear wheel. I have seen an alarming number in recent years.
Great idea Ford!
We all lose some skin in the auto repair shop .. it's how you Know you've got it right...kudos Mr.Spotty you earned your stripes 😎✋
He’s a trooper!
The butterfly stitches were hilarious 😂😂😂
I prefer electrical tape but he requested a butterfly bandage. 😂
😂😂😂 same here
Cool

Nope, he’s an adrenaline junky!
Nice! Keep these 'boring builds' coming!
Thanks, will do!
Scott, PLEASE no more Fords. I am ready for Grand Am #300. 🤣👍
Hello from Phoenix Arizona!
I’m always looking for Grand Ams so maybe one day. Greetings from IL where it snowed 2 inches last night! 🤬
Ford somehow managed to make a key chime more annoying than the loud screeching buzzer GM cars had in the 1970's.
No one can beat the 80s talking Chryslers for annoying door chimes!
Doo dee doo, doo dee doo.
That paint look good
Mr spotty does his own stunt......🤣
He’s an adrenaline junky!
So glad Mr. Spotty is okay. Between the industrial accident and doing his own stunts, he certainly got the workout in this video. I LOL’ed so hard at the “gender neutral shift juice” comment I almost fell off my barstool. Nice build, for a Ford.
Mr Spotty is an adrenaline junky! 😂
19:48 Holy Wheel Weights! Guess they just look bigger on those tiny rims. Loved the Snap On creeper payment plan.
We needed to add weight to keep the car on the ground after all the horsepower upgrades! 😂
