I feel like that Nashville antique archeology store is bigger so probably stores more of the antiques. From the show it feels like they do a lot of dealing with corporate collector s like the TGIF's that like to put the antique things on the walls so they probably have it sold before they get back to Iowa
The LeClaire location is just a tourist trap at this point, pretty much abandoned other than the novelty after they opened the Nashville location. Honestly, if you're from the QC and actually been inside Antique Archeology ...
I read an article online about the show American Pickers and in part of it it was said that Mike, Frank, and Danielle used to come to their store locations in the early yrs, but they realized customers never shopped when they were around cause they wanted to meet them. So, now they stay away during business hrs and the staff that work for them are the ones you encounter at the locations.
DAVENPORT- Funtime Cards, Comics and Collectables. encyclopedia knowledge of comics and old school geekdom. He was old when I was a kid, and hasn't changed a bit. If he doesn't have it, one of his contacts does. Second shop- Superstars and Superheroes, THIS was my very first comic shop in town when the 7-11 closed down, and the spinner rack days died. Larry is one of my oldest acquaintances still left in Davenport, and the location is still at the same place. Out of town, you have to check the small towns and back road shops, they have like new, and unsold toys still in brand new boxes and still in the same shops...
Yeah the thing I want to see most was those carded action figures of Star Wars but I guess it was raining so I'm looking forward to seeing a follow-up video.
He want to come pick up my collection in Michigan. It's quite large. From Transformers to GI Joes including like 15 hot toys to He-Man to Harry Potter to Star Wars, Legends, DC Universe. Ghostbusters excetera excetera. Nothing real classic anymore. But collecting from 10
Can see my video of much or most of my collection on my channel.. just thinking about starting this cell It Off. Love toy collecting.. Pretty selective with collecting since then.
This was a good video, i enjoyed seeing a peek into the antique archeologies store too.
