I also switched from a titanium iron to ceramic in my heat training journey. It took a while for my hair to adjust to the ceramic but I love it now. I can flat iron on 410 with one pass now. Your hair looks really good. I’m on the same journey so I subscribed.
@@Marcie_does_it thanks beautiful and welcome 🤗 ❤️ I'm going to continue using the ceramic on 410 and see how it goes my goal is to keep my curls somewhat intact.
your hair is so pretty. i have a titanium flat iron too , but I'm considering a tourmaline flat iron, ceramic does nothing but piss me off.
@@bunnybeeyou8026 Thank you ❤️ I tried the tourmaline before and that one made me mad my hair reverted quickly and was poofy the same day.
This is very calming!! Great video
@@LIFEWITHKELC Thank you for watching! ❤️
I had the same problem with the Revlon & Switched to a Shark Speedstyle dryer. I think Revlon is not good if you have fine strands. It's better for coarse strands. B4 anyone comes for me fine strands doesn't man loose curls. It means the individual strands in your hair are thin in diameter. So if you have fine strands the Revlon is probably the worst hair dryer for retaining length.
@@1021Marcy I loved the Revlon at first but then I realized it gets extremely hot and pulls out your hair. I don't think that brush is for anyone with curls or coils in my opinion. Definitely not good for length retention overtime.
I’ve been wanting to blow dry my hair weekly. Do you think that’s safe?
@@VirgosGroove3 Absolutely! The natural hair community has caused a lot of people to be afraid of a blow dryer which is crazy. If you are new to blow drying I would watch some tutorials first and start with low heat low speed until your comfortable ❤️
@@letsgrowtogethertv I agree! lol got us scared of heat but every other race on the face of the planet uses heat, sometimes daily and their hair is down to their crack. People think because we have the curliest hair that we have to treat it differently which is completely false. We all have the same hair pores and follicles at the end of the day lol I have the same routine and I also don’t have any heat damage. There’s nothing wrong with using heat as long as it’s done properly. I’ve had more damage from doing wash and gos and following natural hair hacks than using heat in my hair. Our hair is more prone to damage the longer it’s wet so I blow dry on high heat, high speed. I also used to use the revlon blow dryer brush, but the round brush, and didn’t like how much hair it was in the brush. I’ve since switched to the silver bird pro and I’m able to blow dry my hair in 10 mins and get it super straight and ready to flat iron. I also blow out my toddlers hair before styling. I used to do wet curly ponytails on her since she was a baby up until she was 2 and she had so much breakage and split ends. Since I’ve been blow drying her hair before styling, her hair is thriving. I will never listen to the natural hair community ever again.
@@__HappilyMarried girl you just said all my thoughts!!! FACTS! My daughter has tailbone length hair and I flat iron her hair weekly just like mine we really have been lied to. Some people do better with heat some don't it's about learning your hair. I had to learn the right products and techniques for my hair to thrive. Before I learned my hair it was stuck at the same length for 14 years. I def want to get the silver bird blow dryer !
@@letsgrowtogethertv yes, I personally think everyone can use heat, like you said they just need to learn the proper technique! Silk presses may not be for everyone though if they sweat in their scalp etc. I think a lot of people experience heat damage when they’re doing team natural stuff because they don’t realize their hair is not in its healthiest state. But yes get the blow dryer girl! I regret not getting it sooner. My stylist told me about it months ago but I just got the revlon and couldn’t return it. But the first time I used it I was able to wash, blow out and press my hair in under 2 hours and it would normally take me 2-3 hours. Game changer for me! I plan to press my daughter’s hair too when she gets older.
@@__HappilyMarried yes some people have fine hair and don't do well with flat irons. But I believe everyone should and can blow dry the hair or at least sit under a dryer lol. I'm definitely going to be investing in that dryer I prefer professional tools over cheap ones!
I hate when I drag the iron and I hear it pulling. Ain’t about that pullage!
@@ThatsTheWayItGoes exactly 😂 stresses me out
