I saw your excel sheet comparing a bunch of pads. The BLITZ and LGG Saturn Pro are nearly identical statistically. I have the Saturn Pro and I’m wondering if it’s even worth to buy this if they truly feel very similar.
Yeah I measured them in a different environment and with a digital force meter. They are very similar in friction properties but the blitz base is more springier and the weave is different, and the difference is noticeable mainly on small circular motions, where Blitz feels more ”free”. But both are goated 👍
@@jerrorr Wow, thanks so much for the detailed and quick response, I really appreciate it. I’ve been really enjoying your videos lately, keep up the good work 👍
Bummer they are not releasing desk size 1000x500 right away. It's my favorite size. How does the pad feel on your palm / skin on vertical compared to horizontal movement? Zero has been the only pad for me so far where the difference in x and y axis feeling was so small that it didn't bother me.
Its very uniform between the x and y -axis. My zero mid which is from a bit rougher batch (they had to use a different factory for a while) is a bit rough on x-axis so it interferes with gaming sleeves a lot, but I’ve had no similar issues with the blitz 👍
Good comment. I'm not involved enough to know about different batches and their differences but I do agree that also my zero (xsoft) does not work well at all with my sleeves (or any long shirt...etc) But it does not bother me on my skin at all which is quite unusual compared to other pads I own, so I guess that's a big plus. Quite excited about Blitz but will wait for desk size.
I play the walhaut Beluga 4mm and I don't like that I get more stopping more when pressing the mouse into the pad. I am not sure should I play the blitz hard 3,5mm or soft 3,7mm?
Pad looks nice, I might wanna try it but then I saw the stats of it compared to my Abusepad (Ikeapad). Maybe it's a better option to let a mate get this (I have Akko Speedpad XL, Pulsar Paraspeed V2 XL Cordura, Hayate Otsu Soft and Zero Xsoft Artisans)
It feels very nice to aim with, but the ikeapad is a bit faster yes. It’s of course a good option to try it out from a friend at some point if that is possible 👍
@@jerrorrOkay so I understand the “speed” is somewhere between the otsu and zero from watching the video but I didn’t really understand where the stopping power is? Is it the same stopping power as a saturn pro then? If you could explain I’d appreciate cause I am looking for a pad around this speed but I’m looking for hella stopping power
@@dcv1337 stopping power is the same as dynamic/kinetic friction. The more friction force the pad applies to the moving mouse, the easier the mouse is to stop. This can be increased with pushing the mouse more to the mousepad also, but that aspect is kinda impossible to measure :D Sometimes stopping power is confused with static friction but physically speaking you cannot stop what has been already stopped. But yeah it has basically same dynamic friction or stopping power as the saturn pro!
@@jerrorrdropped a sub and just bought the pad. Thanks for the video and taking the extra time to explain this to me. Will make an update in about a week!
Just got it, and it's by far the worst mousepad i've used after the LGG venus. Feels like a slowed down icerink. I will have to disagree with you, dynamic friction doesn't give more stopping power. I made that conclusion beacuse using my equate +v2 with lower dynamic i'm able to get more abrupt and precise stops. I think it's beacuse of the material used, and how rough it is. The blitz is too smooth making it slippery. So that dynamic friction doesn't matter on the the whale pad.
Sad to hear that. Dynamic friction still directly affects how easy an object is to stop, it’s straight up physics. Imagine a car stopping on a slippery road and then on a dry road. Which scenario has longer stopping distance when braking? Might be that you are just used to having some texture on the pad.
Great review! Thank you for all the work! And mentioning all the details 💜
Thanks!

desk pad will be avalible with 6mm and hard ipu update
👍 banger review, very exited for the whales ultra thin glass pad
Thanks! Yeah it looks super promising as well!

Hard
Do arm sleeves work with this pad?
They interfere somewhat with the weave, at least pulsar sleeves, skypad sleeve and the focus sleeve.

is this the mid (mid soft) or soft (extra soft) base? If you've tried both do you prefer 1 over the other?
This is the extra soft I think. I also have it mid and they feel very similar, but the mid is slightly thinner
So is this pad between a zero and otsu?
Kinda yeah!

Thanks for the sub man! Yeah let me know how it feels! I am maining one currently 👍
is it fast or is it control? title confusing
Control pad with some speed. Like a very balanced pad overall 👍
