  • I call Bietschhorn an impregnable fortress, I tried to climb it alone in all seasons and after several unsuccessful attempts I finally made it to the top.
    The Bietschhorn, nicknamed "the King of Valais", is a peak in the Swiss Alps. It reaches almost 4,000 meters above sea level, 3.934 meters exactly.
    I saw it for the first time during our hike around Saas-Almagell ( • Winter mountaineering ... ). Its characteristic pyramid stands proudly catching the eye of any mountaineer. To get to the top of this mountain is not a simple walk, you must already have good mountaineering experience, especially when you plan to do it solo. According to the information on the Swiss Alpine Club website, the easiest route is the one leading by the western ridge. This is the one I chose to start my adventure with this incredible mountain.
    This is the first episode.

    Thank you for posting your adventures, even the ones that many would call unsuccessful. Seeing others' struggles helps me to stay focused even when my own adventures do not always turn out the way I had planned. I love that although it took you five tries, you perservered!

      For me there are no unsuccessful adventures. We learn every time. Quite often we only see adventures where everything goes well and it's very easy, it seems like advertising. However, in real life everything is not simple. I'm not a professional and so when you see people who manage to do incredible things very easily it can give the impression that we are worthless. For me you have to set the level of difficulty in relation to the time and commitment you put into it, and therefore an easy summit for some is difficult for others. By spending a few hours a month cultivating your passion you cannot obtain the same result compared to someone whose job it is. Thank you very much for your feedback. Do not hesitate to subscribe.

      When you're alone, it's easier to give up when you're not confident, that's what I think. When you are with friends or other mountaineers, you are quite confident and willing to take more risks. Thank you very much for your feedback.

      @@never-too-late i think showing how you prepare would be a good way to create hype for the climax of the video
      Film yourself when:
      -you find the mountain to climb
      -you prepare all your bags and explain breefly why you take specific things (do not detail so you Can explain New things each videos an that it won't take too long)
      -go to the mountain, film yourself driving and explain how you are feeling about the climb and then your video.
      3D illustrations are cool but you Can mix it UP with Real footage, and also speak without a text at these Times to make it look more organic, Real and create some story telling

    • @never-too-late
      @never-too-late  Рік тому +1

      Thank you for the suggestions! Sharing the preparation process and capturing the anticipation before the climb are great ideas. I'll definitely incorporate more real footage and spontaneous storytelling to create a more engaging and immersive experience in my videos. Stay tuned for the upcoming adventures!

    What a nice coincidence. I was in the Lötschental this August with my 6 year old son. We tried to hike to the Lötschenpass Hütte. Unfortunately there was unusual amount of snow above 2300m and so we had to retourn becaus of that.
    I started climbing and mountaineering over 20 years ago, but had to take some time out because of Job and Family in the last years.
    …why am i telling you this?
    Because your very nice Videos, your pure and honest way to communicate and your clear transportation of emotions made me feel the old love again. You inspired me to plan some tours for the next year(s). Thank you for that.
