The love handle wheels are similar in width to the originals at 50mm wide, the fat free wheels are narrower with only 37mm of contact with the ground, similar substitutes would be the love handle wheels at the front with 65mm and the 4 president wheels with 70mm at the back.
I am in Australia, $AUS/$US is roughly $0.70. So SmoothStar wheels will be cheaper for me. I really want to try other wheels. I love my SmoothStar Toledo 77. I also ride on flat ground, where I am trying to improve my surfing first.
Try the BLUE love handles. They are 77a and much better at gripping and not sliding out.
will do!
Over 10 types of wheels in my life, the love handles are pretty great. Easily in the top three❤
love em!
Good recommendation! Could you advise if you get wheelbite if you were to switch to 70mm wheels?
I was waiting for the company to send me another pair of wheels but they ghosted! sorry
@@justme-pl1gi no wheelbite on my deck at all!

So, 66 or 70mm?
77a or 80a?

yeah I found the orangatang, seismic, and carver to be the best alternatives. I like the option of different durometers...might be worth it for you!
Hi! I ride my 77 for almost two years, mostly on parks and bowls. Is this option better for me or should I consider getting smaller wheels 65mm?
I think it would really depend on your weight, and how much grip you want. you will have to test it out for sure!
Fat free are slidy. The 4 pres wheels are grippy and still slide when you force them.
