Don't turn them off prior to putting them in the case. Putting them in the case automatically turns them off. If there connecting to your phone once you put them in the case that's because they slightly popped out of the case. Push them fully into the case and they'll auto shut off.

Where is the safety line? (I don't see where it should be indicated to show maximum amount at top for hot water).

What about the wires of the Blackshark, those look like absolute weak spots that break after a year of regular use.. in the case of the kraken this wouldnt happen so easily, or am i mistaken?

187 are the best. I've been using them for years, including several falls. Never even a scratch on my hand or wrist when using them. They do wear out a bit over time, so generally ever 12-18 months I get new ones, but I always get the same ones: 187 killer pads. They're unbelievable. Great protection but also good flexibility and maneuvering. I promise you these pads will, at some point, save your hands, fingers and wrist.
