I waited outside the back of the venue after the show for an hour and a half in the freezing cold, but I got to meet Aurora as she was leaving so it was totally worth it. She was by far one of the nicest and most welcoming human beings iv had the pleasure to meet. I was there with about 20 other people and she insisted on meeting and getting a picture with everyone of us. Even when one of her aids came to her and told her the ride was going to be there in 3 minutes she said "well they are just going to have to wait". Meeting her was a legitimate dream come true for me

Her absence is definitely felt here, unfortunately. As much as I miss her in the band, she’s on to bigger and better things as she’s an artist in her own right. I just wish she got a proper replacement to round out the sound. Aurora herself sounds incredible but the backing band needs some fine tuning, especially since I think most of them are new.

I really like how she simplifies some of the arrangements. She is good enough to even for a capella. So the new band has grown into it really good. Even if I miss Silja Sols flawless background a little bit. So good to see. Thanks Kenzo I would not be disappointed when I will see her in concert in Stockholm in march.

So I really wanted to share this story and I hope it will resonate with others in the queendom. I woke up nearly sure it had been real. I was so excited that I almost told my daughter who I had just met. Only then did I realize I had no idea where I had been or how this would have been possible, and how I was going to get to work on time… It had been a wonderful, simple, human dream. The concert was about to start and for some reason she had to decide what song to perform (odd, I’m sure). I was in the other backstage room (working on something) when a fan asked her to sing one of her early pieces. For some reason, she could not. Too nervous to say anything, I pulled up a song on UA-cam and just had it on a screen. She walked past seeming not to notices, only to turn back and repeat her words from before, only this time more gently. kindly. Regretfully: “I can’t sing that song either, you understand…” She walked towards the doorway. As a no one, I sheepishly closed the window, “Oh no, I wasn’t saying you should” I stammered. “I’m just getting ready for the show.” She stopped to interrupt my excuse with words I don’t think I’ll ever forget, “You’re so lonely! I’m so sorry you shouldn’t be alone!” Not knowing whether to laugh of cry, I chuckled and looked back at my screen, “That’s amazing because… my world has been very lonely.” Then she put her hand on my forearm with a universal, maternal affection I can only imagine she might convey, “Sometimes we are lonely, but we are never alone.” I instantly started to weep, and she hugged my shoulders and kissed my forehead, “Aww… I’m so sorry, but I have to go,” as if she was genuinely sad she could not stay with me longer. I regained some of my composure as I began to leave my dream, “No, of course, that was so kind of you. You didn’t have to do this!” She did her classic hands-clasped, shoulder’s squeezed while rocking back and forth as if physically restraining herself from embracing everything in reach, “Ohh… I love you so much, little warrior!” She blew a kiss and left the room. I looked down at my arm that she had touched and pulled the covers around me tighter and smiled, as I slowly awoke from what was a truly special dream. When I arrived at work, I realized I didn’t completely remember what song it was I had wanted to hear so I went and looked it up. It was, “When I’m Gone.” Thank you Aurora,
