- Lazy Dog is a chain restaurant that offers up elevated comfort food in a rustic setting. This restaurant actually originated in California and can now be found in over 40 locations across the U.S.
This particular Lazy Dog just opened up along Highway 192, across from Margaritaville Orlando and right outside the Walt Disney World Resort. We've provided full reviews on other eateries in this shopping center, such as Portillo's and Keke's Breakfast Cafe.
Lazy Dog appealed to us because the restaurant prides itself on being Dog friendly and even has a Dog menu! During our experience we provide insight into the rules for dogs during their time here and our very own dog, Frank, makes an appearance to provide a pup approved review. We also go over the decor, signature cuisine and whether we think Lazy Dog is worth a visit on your next Orlando Vacation.

Frank is adorable! Glad he could enjoy their dog menu to go even though he couldn't physically be there. Love learning about all the dog-friendly places. We are thinking of bringing our dogs along to our next Orlando trip

That is great ideas because they don’t have to leave dog at home because dog bowl and pup menu but my dog eat my mom’s food and she loves their menu and she give thumbs up 👍👍😄
This is my favorite restaurant lazy dog i never change that because i really want to go there again they have yummy meatloaf screw all other restaurants this one is definitely what i wanted to go there and eat their yummy food i wanted to also try a desserts it is worth to go there believe me it is the best time to go and eat and chill there😄

Bring four legged friend with you and that was a great ideas and waitress is good service and i got excited because i never been to the lazy dog restaurant before and i get to go there again screw with other restaurants because is dull and boring 👍👍😁

This place is really cool. We are cat people, but I'm going to have to share this video with my dog people. The food looked pretty good. I'm so happy FRANK enjoyed his food. He's such a sweet boy. I agree that they should open one near Dollywood. It would definitely fit right in. Great video as always. Happy New Year!

Frank enjoys all his meals, a true foodie dog. There were some misses, but there were still some really great options too, definitely a mixed bag- but a nice atmosphere and anywhere that is pro dog, we support :)v Hope you and your pup enjoy it!

happy new year. We tried it a few weeks ago, very good burgers. also tried 5 of the frozen meals as well. great price for them and good hearty meals.
We keep hearing the Frozen Dinners are great. We'll have to pick up some next time. Thank you for the suggestion! We may try bringing Frank off camera. The rustic asthetic was very ncie. I think we made some mistakes ordering on this trip but we will be back!
Ok watched it all!! Sam I am so sad your bowl was sad and bad (I hope you said something!). We too have the pet peeve of entree showing up when apps have not been consumed! I had hoped they would wow you! Sooooo if you go again (should you come to Calif. I will take you lol). I would recommend the hush puppies and the calamari (they are on the small plates). Food wise go with the chicken pot pie or pot roast, ribs with Unami fries! Oh and the deviled eggs are good. lol ... I swear last comment.. the frozen dinners are very good. For my DD and her husband that was their treat during the height of covid since that is all Lazy Dog put out for a while :). I hope you have a fantastic day.
We didn't say anything only because I always feel weird sending food back, even though I know it's totally okay to do so, I'm too shy. I really did love the quesadilla and dessert though! Before I even got my food, I knew I wasn't ordering the most exciting menu option, but I wanted to have something a bit lighter. I will totally give them another chance. We love Mediterranean food sooooo much and we both said "that looks sad." Like first of all, it needed more feta and tzatziki. I personally would want more olives too. 😂The dessert looked good though. I'd go just for dessert. Awww Frank! Loved how y'all were going through your ornaments ❤️
Yessss, more olives too!!! Ugh I learned my lesson on that one. I was so happy the dessert was as it good as it was. Frank’s bowl was legit better than mine 😂
This is better then any other restaurants out there and i am going to the lazy dog restaurant with my dog i am really excited to bring dog with me compared to all other restaurants and now service dog handler bring in service dog and they can’t do anything about it because it’s due with dog statue right inside their lazy dog restaurant and dogs can eat pup menu as well not just human being dogs too my dog will get some pup menu too and go to the patio 👍👍

I am going to the lazy dog on sunday with my dog that everybody should go there and try their menu and see who’s menu is the best and getting tired of a restaurant that is so far off that can’t take a dog inside of the boring restaurant but lazy dog is my favorite restaurant compared with all other restaurants but i like lazy dog good thing that every dogs can enjoy it and give some food to the dogs and my dog try their menu for her first time and my mom shared the food with her and she give herself a thumbs up that is so awesome and good place to dine out and i am taking my dog again if she be good girl patios is really nice even doggie water bowl that is the place i give five thumbs up for that awsome lazy dog restaurant believe me i like that restaurant more screw other restaurant imagine if everybody goes to the lazy dog restaurant and all others be saying we had to shut down because they all go for lazy dog finally some decent meal 👍👍
Looks like a decent place. Even though we wouldn’t be able to bring our dogs there as well. Lucas thinks. Frank is the star of the show.
The atmosphere, asthetic and dog friendly offerings make this place stand out to us. Despite the dishes being hit or miss we do think we'll be back because inclusiveness and vibe are big draws for us. Lucas has an eye for talent! We'll make sure to let Frank know he says hi 🙂.
Finally the restaurant employees were think about this before so that dog won’t stay home and it is nice to bring dog so that dog won’t freak out to be left alone in the house anymore now dog enjoy their meal off of pup menu too and i am going there again best lazy dog my dog didn’t want to miss out my dog put thumbs up for the food my younger sister should bring her dog so that her dog won’t miss out and bring leftover puppy bag to take home to feed all her dogs too and my big sister should bring her dog and bring puppy bags but there were to following all of those rules also

Never go to the boring restaurants anymore lazy dog is the best place and great with everything and can bring dog in the patio that was a great ideas so that dog don’t have to stay home alone

We love Lazy dog! We have a few out here near Chicago and love taking Tinkerbell - glad to see there is one down near Orlando too! The decor is awesome - it really does feel super homey and the little homages to dogs around with the bones and paw prints is adorable. It feels very elevated while still feeling homey - which is akin to the food as well!
We totally agree that the options can be hit or miss - we’ve had to kind of learn what we like from the menu. The TV dinners are actually really good! We go often for happy hour and their happy hour is super solid - great selection of those apps for good deals. We frequent that chicken quesadilla on the happy hour menu and agree it so good! The dirty dawg is also SO good and is $6 during happy hour - a bacon wrapped hot dog topped with buffalo sauce and potato chips. They have some great cocktails too! ALSO - the burgers are pretty good, and the mini corn dogs are another favorite of the apps! 😊 The candied bacon is SO good too and has a little bit of spice to it. If you’re into deviled eggs - you’ve gotta try those! They are super good deviled eggs and have pieces of the candied bacon in them.
It’s definitely worth going back in the morning for their brunch too - it’s so good! They have a great menu with pancakes and other savory options. The chicken and biscuits are top notch and they have some lumberjack pancake tacos that are such a nice sweet and savory option.
The road trip bowl did look super dissapointing. Sad to hear that was a miss :( we’ve never tried the biscuits or the bowls as many times as we’ve been, so I guess we will not try them! Lol 😅 We also haven’t tried the cake for dessert though - so we’re gonna have to get that next time because it sounded amazing based on your review!

@@ThemeParkFoodies you’ll have to let us know what you think if you return and try any different things! The bowl being a 1 though is definitely inexcusable - for a restaurant to truly be “good” they should have high quality and delicious selections across the menu that are a hit with no weak spots. Consistency is key and it sounds like Lazy Dog has some gaps!
A couple other random things - their white peach sangria is so good and they serve it in pitchers lol. It’s $15 for a pitcher during happy hour too! Their beer club is also pretty cool - exclusive discounts and offers, lazy dog glasses and cups, a few other bonuses, and all the varying beers from little breweries every quarter are fun!
Also - if you sign up for their emails every once in a while they have these crazy 4 course feast events that are themed to a specific flavor, ingredient, or vibe and they’re awesome. I did one called the bacon experience and each part of the 4 course meal had bacon in it. It’s always a fun and interesting menu curated to fit the theme and is like a pre-paid ticket type thing! You reserve your ticket and pay in advance (you have to book for 2 people minimum) and then just show up and feast lol. I look forward to doing more of them in the future.
It is a really unique and fun restaurant - even outside of being dog friendly!!! Now if only they could just make sure all the food on the menu slaps ALL the time - yes please 🙌
Enjoy with four legged friend which is dogs and it is a wonderful ideas because it is better that way because it is all about dogs i was like oh good we can bring dogs too and doggie water bowl and pup menu i hope she gets pup menu and some food that she be happy girl dog and boy dog too i told my younger sister that the customers bring dogs to the lazy dog restaurant if desired to bring dogs or not but it’s better to bring dogs too and to order pup menu for our four legged friend good thing that came up with new restaurant lazy dog due to dog statue inside of the lazy dog restaurants 😁
