- From The Price is Right with Bob Barker's third season on CBS Daytime, it's The Price is Right, show number #1355D - original airdate April 4, 1975. Games played on this half hour episode of the show include Most Expensive, Any Number, and Shell Game
I enjoy watching Price from this era ('72 - '84 or so). Well-dressed contestants, well-mannered audience, great prize music, Barker at the top of his game. I miss this era.
Me too. I think those episodes are the best. ❤
Gadzooks! The second showcase was something
Showcase #1's music cue was nice.
There's stunning, then there's Anitra Ford.
Reginald seems like a cool cat right hang with.
Today’s Price is Right just isn’t the true price is right… from Drew Carey, the announcer can’t hold a candle to the famous Johnny Olsen , the models☹️ , the set and theme songs are now horrible. I have not watched since Barker left😮
And memorizing the prices... especially after the Perfect Bid incident (which became a documentary) and Roger Dobkowitz's dismissal from the show, it's getting harder to memorize the prices of the prizes that were seen on the show before.
i feel the same way; I stopped watching after Bob retired.
Absolute farce now! Totally unwatchable
@@MikeBirdman After Roger Dobkowitz was dismissed and the perfect bid that caused chaos (which later turned into a documentary by CJ Wallis), the show really changed in terms of memorizing prizes. Plus it's not live to tape anymore today.
