Carey is honestly a really great and fluid and adaptable host. And now that Sajak has retired, Carey is literally one of the only "traditional gameshow hosts" left on air.
I think ANY host who had to contend with the way that Covid dismantled all of society for a while, could not possibly have done a better job than Drew did. He had to do this job in a much harder world than Barker or Cullen were living in.

Today, contestants are FAT, overweight, back in Bob Barker ERA, everybody was thin, elegant. Big difference .
