  • The key deliverable for the National Education Collaboration Trust for Gender Responsiveness Pedagogy for Early Childhood Education for 2022 is to train 4000 ECD practitioners and Grade R teachers from four provinces namely Eastern Cape, Free-State, Northern Cape and Northern West Province. The training has been conducted in two folds methods through Face 2 Face sessions attended physically on all the four provinces. The second method is the provision of online training through the existing partnership with VVOB learner Management System (Promoting gender equality in early childhood development) this course is SACE accredited for Continuing Professional Development standards.
    The National Education Collaboration Trust has distributed 4000 tablets, with 10G of Data and 250 minutes to the ECD practitioners to enable the ECD team to complete the online course. The delivery of the training is implemented in partnership with the provincial department coordinators and subject advisors who are trained as master trainers for the Gender Responsiveness Pedagogy for Early Childhood Education.
