I like you guys. You are so "down to earth" and homey. Also, your recipes are easy to follow and very tasty and fun to watch! I like how you don't have (or use) fancy ingredients which not everybody has in their pantry. I feel like I can easily make these recipes. Thank you for this channel. I appreciate it.
Thank you for that! We try to make things easy and approachable and... fun. If you're not having fun at what you're doing, you should be doing something else!
You guys are great! Thanks for reminding me about TVP, we haven't used it in years, so I just now went and got some on Amazon. I want to make this dish as well as some plant based sloppy joes with the TVP. Also ordered the oil sprayers from Amazon through your link because I have been wanting these for a long time! We hope you both have an awesome plant-based Thanksgiving!
I made this today for dinner tonight. The biggest mistake I made was not grinding up my fennel seeds. I will next time. I will be testing it on my hubby tonight. Thank you!
I have already taken some spinach out of my freezer as I don’t have a microwave (I have a nice assortment of other kitchen electrics) lol. I will make without oil as I think I can do it 😁😁. Thank you for saying that it makes TWO servings!!
It is weird but things like fennel make things "Italian sausage", I find being British that malt vinegar on vegetable sticks - reminds me of fish sticks and sage reminds me of poultry That seasoning is crucial.
FYI the word you were looking for is "Etymology" which means "...the study of the origin of words and the way in which their meanings have changed throughout history."

Well folks...you nail it every time!
Derica, the word you were looking for is etymology. Great recipe. I love fennel seeds too.
I'm definitely making this one too.
Came out really good.
Yet another recipe to try out on my husband :) this looks so delicious - thanks
Happy to help!

Thank you!
I will have to try this one - for me. My husband does not do mushrooms. Thanks for the recipe!

We don't tend to grind them but you can if you prefer it that way.
I think I'll make this tonight I have all of the ingredients. As most times I always have the soy curls the TVP always on hand for recipes like yours
Let us know how it turns out!
Looks amazing.. I will definitely make this soon.. I have most of the ingredients already, though I will need to get some fennil.
It's a great recipe. Hope you enjoy it!

You can most likely make it without oil. I use it to enhance texture in this case mostly but you can leave it out.
@ made it and really enjoyed it! Totally different from the one pot pasta ☺️
@darinkagolob7668 oh definitely. Completely different dish!

That seasoning is crucial.
Yup, many times it's the seasonings that make the food taste as it does and not even the food itself.
