Since it was pointed out to me, I just wanted to say that this is not inspired by the movie Midsommar. Here in Scandinavia, midsummer is celebrated and is a very big deal many places (not like in the movie though) and I just wanted to share a little bit of my typical midsummer celebration :) Here in Denmark, we usually have big bonfires to celebrate as well, but sadly, because it had been so hot and we had no rain for a month, nobody was allowed to have a bonfire, which is completely understandable, but would have looked amazing.

thank you! there is something about that mellow sweet scandinavian summer air with the soft perpetual sun that really sets you into a different plane of reality. in tokyo it is 90% humidity at 38 degrees with harsh, scorching sun, and thick oven-like air so that you are damp from the moment you step outside. the human system behaves so differently, that the entire course of life is altered. may the autumn be full of joy and kindness find you in the winter.
Thank you too! The scandinavian summer is usually very mild and nice, but when I made this video, it was actually very hot for the danish June. Nothing compared to what you said it is like in Tokyo though, that sounds very intense. Thank you, I wish the same for you.
