“I can see bad guys coming in the distance!” “I wish I could see them too, but you’re the one with binoculars.” That’s the best piece of writing I’ve seen in a very long time 😂
+The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon I always love Kid Theater but I think this might have been my favorite Jimmy and Tom would have made great spies
damn these are freaking intelligent kids. like the second one even had a whole underlying running joke throughout which he, like a true comedy screenwriter, left completely unexplained. damn
+Bruce Not really. If Daniel Day Lewis and Michael Fassbender were to read these lines in a Nolan movie, it'd be terrible, ineffective dialogue. Let's not get carried away. It was a fun bit, and a good way for the kids to be involved, but it's not better than most Hollywood writers.
+TheMusketITuckedIt I mean, Toy Story 3 came out fairly recently, so if anything they should at least know about that one. But any good parent should always show their kids the standard movies you show to your kids, and Toy Story is one that everyone should show their kids. Besides, it's Disney and the majority of kids will be fairly familiar with Disney/Pixar products.
TheMusketITuckedIt Do you even have any idea how big of an impact the franchise has made? There are kids today who still know and grew up with Toy Story.
+louiethemouseful Ya that was pretty good. I wonder what made him continue with that throughout the story. Kids got a better sense of humor than all of SNL.
Tom Hanks is a living legend!! It's quite charming and a bit unbelievable to see him do this. And kids have such great imagination, they have no sense of the social norm and everything they write gets kinda random. This was lovely!
+Brendan Beckett It came from a "school" not a class. At least there should be more than one class of 7-8 year olds. And there's always those silly but smart kids in each class. Usually 1-3 in each.
Tom and Jimmy have such a great chemistry. Watching this never fails to brighten my day. All 3 are so well written and the music really sets the mood for each scene.
I was just astonished how Tom stays in his character, I mean how he's acting without laughing or didn't even get distracted by the Audience Giggles. Man, he's a Genius!!!!!!
*Tom saves first kid's script* *First kid's wildest dreams come true* *Tom saves third kid's script and tosses the first kid's script away* *First kid gets his heart stepped on personally by Woody*
I love watching the Kid Theater segment cuz aside from their funny acting, it just reminds me how precious and innocent kids are when it comes to their imagination :'))
I don't see how it isn't possible. There's kids that learn to read when they are 3, so they have time to learn to write and widen their imagination by the time they are 7.
That kid who wrote that 3rd one is going places in life
Atari Grams if he becomes a director/Writer he will forever say; yeah I wrote this script for Tom Hanks when I was like 7
Atari Grams I wish the kid someday watches this video!
His name is Luke. He was 7 at the time.
Yeh, honestly.... that was really good! :D

Tom Hanks is so good, he could get an Oscar just for this performance
+gefelice Leonardo Dicaprio couldn't.
+Geroldus haha ouch.
+Geroldus And he never will especially since his acting is getting worse and worse.
+gefelice I thought about that too !! he's really into it.
dicaprio is not a good actor he is just an common actor with good movies but tom hanks !god this man can do anything so easy
the 3rd one really threw a curveball with the biggest kid theater betrayal in history
That twist was better than some books and movies
That 3rd actually had some really good banter lol
Oznerol the 3rd one was the best one
It sounded like something from Who's Line is it Anyway. I could see Colin and Ryan doing that one!

Tom hanks so serious doing it. He seems so respect that script. I like that. What a humble man!

Such a bad spy though

Yeah! I loved that. Really smart.
Man why do kids write better scripts than most of the Hollywood writers??
+Bruce maybe because the kids aren't corrupted & they don't have to think about complicated stuff like the adults do
Or because kids didn't write these.
+Bruce Because they don't pander to dumb audiences tastes.

Those kids that wrote these must be having their minds blown that Woody is reading their scripts.

SkywardPrimeGalaxy wait what tom hanks did woody from toy story
the third one actually wrote some decent spy banter
Everybody is talking about the first and third, but I though the recurring "Tim" joke in the second was good.
Me too. Wish my kid was that hillarious
The "wait I thought you were tim" had me 😭😭
Co-
Even Tom didn't like that one.
I LOLED everytime the 2nd script said "I thought you were Tim" AHAHHAHAHA "you look alike"
+louiethemouseful Ya that was pretty good. I wonder what made him continue with that throughout the story. Kids got a better sense of humor than all of SNL.
Yup. it was like joe is harry, tim is Ron and Margaret is Ginny Weasley 😂😂😂
+louiethemouseful I think is Tim disguised as Margaret! and he is spying on his brother
Tom Hanks still manages to nail the performance 👏👏
Haha, those scripts should be picked up and produced as blockbusters.
I'd pay about $100 just to watch if you cast Jimmy and Tom in them.
