+MintyPanda He won a shit ton of other awards though. Out of all of the award shows (which I just learned there are a stupid amount of different award shows), the Oscar is like the only one he didn't win.
So... A screenplay of your life. Good job continuing to work on it. I have been encouraged to write a book. Laptops are not comfortable for writing. My Dad recognized my appreciation of movies. I appreciate what I cannot do on my own. Write a screenplay, not a book. Make the thoughts appear alive, via description, detail, and care. Never be discouraged. Work is difficult. Fuck everyone else. Are they writing a screenplay? Nope. Be well!
All jokes aside there's something remarkable about what those kids wrote. I mean they laugh, and I did too, but when you think about there something so authentic about it and so true. Like "no. your name is thomas". Pure genius. They should do it more often
Refreshing and super funny! I agree with the rest, this should become a staple! Side note: I'm surprised that people don't think kids can write this. I'm a teacher, and their creativity always stuns me ... believe me, I've seen them write even funnier, more creative and more imaginative scenes than these. I do take exception to the one supposedly written by a six year old ... that point where Birdwoman insists on a different billing is more adult thinking than a six year old's.
The top billing joke has been done everywhere though. I am pretty sure I have seen it on Spongebob and on Phineas and Ferb, so it was probably "borrowed" humor from some similar source.
Kids today also consume SO much more media than their parents did at the same age, particularly TV, and particularly drama traditionally targeted at older people. Kids are EXTREMELY good at absorbing dialogue from TV shows, and even though they don't always understand WHY something is funny, they can often work out WHAT is funny and WHEN it is funny. I can totally see a kid hearing the billing joke, working out its a joke to do with birds, and reusing it even if they don't actually get the joke. And, of course, some six year olds are just really good with language. I mean, even if you take someone like Noah, the apparently kid, who wasn't even in school when his first video happened. He doesn't do puns, but he has a wickedly dry sense of humour for a kid his age, and I'd bet you about 80% of it is just what he's absorbed from other people and worked out the kinds of context certain things are funny in.
+porcusuxor I think it might just be the way Keaton read that line. The script doesn't give any stage direction so it could just be birdwoman musing over being married and simply happening to say the names in a different order. If he had it read it in a different tone that joke might not even have registered.
jokesterr119 Mate you can't state that as fact when you know you ain't sittin in no Jimmy Fallon writers' room lol I kid I kid. They're good stories regardless :)
The whole concept is brilliant. From the simple, innocent, funny and witty dialogue written by children, acted out by adults, the hilarious delivery by both Michael Keaton and Jimmy, the serious delivery of the scene description by Higgins to the background music provided by the Roots, setting the tone. More please!
Wow, that second one was such an emotional rollercoaster! You had the joyful introduction, followed by the main character's aspirations and strife, and then the big twist reveal, all concluding with some light comedy. I feel like both actors really brought their best into these rolls.
When did Michael Keaton get so old? WHERE DID TIME GO? HOW IS HE 65 NOW? I swear I only remember him in his forties. It's like time went 20 years forward in 2 months or something. What?
I'm hoping and praying that Michael wins the Oscar. I've loved this dude ever since Batman. Birdman is better than great. Loved the film. I really want Michael to win the Oscar so badly.
0:38&1:14 That's was my favorite😍street hard-core macho attitude language by playing a bad guy. As the villain on 1 of his films 🎬 which he got killed every time when the characters he played.
omg damnnnn i love this kid theatre or what! i jus love everything abt it. ur expressions jimmy and the stars and the stories tht little kids write.. awsm man. do more of em
I love Michael Keaton’s reaction to the second story when he read in anticipation the real identity of Birdman 👌🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 You may be Birdman here but you’ll always be Bill Blazejowski to me.”Love brokers” 🤣😂🤣😂🤣
My mum works for a council in London England called hackney council and someone who works there is called Michael Keaton Hackney council got voted the best council in England of the last 20 years So proud.

CAW! CAW! CAW! should be part of Michael Keaton's acceptance speech at the Oscars.
in fact, it should be all of his speech.
Avenging Stark
I wanted him to win so badly.
+MintyPanda He won a shit ton of other awards though. Out of all of the award shows (which I just learned there are a stupid amount of different award shows), the Oscar is like the only one he didn't win.
+Max
Well, he didn’t win the BAFTA, or SAG, which are two of the biggest predictors.
That second one had the biggest plot twist since Star Wars probably, woah
na uh!
Agreed.... Caw! Caw! Caw! lol XD
Games Settings

I didn't expected either!!
"If you have wings, you can do anything."
"Where can I get wings?"
"Target or Walmart."😂
That one spoke to my soul.😂😂
It should've been redbull
The kid actually tried to make it rhyme. He wrote "with wings you can do anythings." Fun sketch
Red Bull homeboy
1. Target or Walmart
2. No your name is Thomas.
3. Birdwoman and BirdMan
All the three kids have great sense of humor. :P
The second ending line almost killed me. Awesome
"Can you call me Bird Son?"
"No, your name is Thomas."
I'm dying
"whatever you say birdwoman, we're married now" this kid already knows how it works
Yup, a beta male in the making.
@@vizestroowash or just a wise male ;)
"Whatever you say, we're married now."
Gold👌👌😂😂😂
That escalated quickly.
*Gold...digger
Please, please, please make this a recurring thing with other guests promoting their films. I can't see how this could fail. Too funny!

Couldn't agree more. This bit is genius, I laughed so hard. haha
Po_The _Jedi caw! caw! caw!
Great idea! What are some of the upcoming films that might do promotion?
At 4:55, Michael Keaton was actually touched by the story.
He might not have won best actor at the Oscars but Keaton is a legend regardless.
Damn right!
+LaRay82 Yea
Oh no what if another Leonardo dicapro happens
+Gary C Because he's Batman.
Batman doesn't need Oscar.
I can't finish a screenplay I've been working on for three years and these kids complete masterpieces almost on command.
Nope. Be well!
I am where nowhere. I see my Mom every week, and she encourages me to write a book.

"No, your name is Thomas" Haha, that one genuinely made me happy.
"I thought you were not real"
"I'm real when it's useful"

Watchdog Goon It's a standard trope. Using it isn't plagiarism, but it might be considered staying too safely attached to the zeitgeist.
Qermaq Okay. I was not implying it was plagiarism.
+porcusuxor I think it might just be the way Keaton read that line. The script doesn't give any stage direction so it could just be birdwoman musing over being married and simply happening to say the names in a different order.
If he had it read it in a different tone that joke might not even have registered.
The little giggle before he read out, "Target and Walmart", lolol!
I laughed so hard, lolololol. These kids would become good writers ::))
But kids didn't write these, the writers did lol
Who cares? It's funny. If the kids wrote this, kudos. If the writers wrote this, great!
Please do more Kid Theatre soon! It's my favourite segment!!!!
same here
I nearly choked on my apple juice when Keaton said "caw, caw, caw".
I knew it!
No you didn't
You're right
Lol that's me everyday
"Target or Walmart!"
If these were teenagers instead of kids it would have been Red Bull...
Diva380 so true😂😂
Redbull
6:03 --> Still a better Lovestory than Twilight
My parents’ marriage was a better love story than Twilight, and they got divorced.
kid theater is a gift to the world.
4:44 - 4:48 You can hear a seal in the audience
His name is Thomas
Hahahaha! 😂

Thank the writers since kids didn't write this lol
jokesterr119 Mate you can't state that as fact when you know you ain't sittin in no Jimmy Fallon writers' room lol
I kid I kid. They're good stories regardless :)
Look at the style of writing in Jimmy's monologues and all other skits. And c'mon mate, "Touch my beak?" Lol
You don't watch a lot of movies or TV do you?
+Netty F Calling TV crappy... original.
The whole concept is brilliant. From the simple, innocent, funny and witty dialogue written by children, acted out by adults, the hilarious delivery by both Michael Keaton and Jimmy, the serious delivery of the scene description by Higgins to the background music provided by the Roots, setting the tone. WE NEED MORE KID THEATER!! JIMMY, GET ON THIS, FOR PETE'S SAKE!
Who is Pete?
Michael bay could learn a lot from this
I don't think he can actually comprehend the complexity of these scripts. Or ever will be able to.
I imagine what Bay would do, explosions in the background, while birdman and birdson have their deep conversation.
Birdman and Birdwoman are talking to eachother and then "KABOOOOOOM"
Jiehfeng His Name is Thomas!
tubelev LIKE I CARE!!!
Keaton is a real actor. He was so professional reading those ridiculous lines.
True that! He's no stranger to the outrageous. He played Beetlejuice, for crying out loud!
Gosh this bit is tooo hilarious!!! Kids have the wildest imagination and funniest conversation language
Loved that caw part! Laughed so hard thanks John for that😂
Can you call me Bird Son? ... No, your name is Thomas. LOL!!!!
I died laughing at Birdman not wanting to call Thomas his Bird Son.
5:25 "No. Your name is Thomas" makes me laugh every time.
When did Michael Keaton get so old? WHERE DID TIME GO? HOW IS HE 65 NOW? I swear I only remember him in his forties. It's like time went 20 years forward in 2 months or something. What?
Ίρις Γεωλιέζου I know! I'm still looking at him right now and I'm trying to imagine him with black hair again...

PLEASE PLEASE be in more movies Michael Keaton!
These were too short to even be short stories, yet there was a beginning, middle and end. I laughed so hard. This was a laughter surgical strike.
😂😂😂 You're the man, Michael Keaton! #FromBatmanToBirdman
I love this skit. I hope Kid Theater becomes a staple, along with Lip Sync Battle and Box Of Lies.
These are just fantastic!! Jimmy is killing it!!

Keaton is so amazing. Flawless in every god damn way.
I'm hoping and praying that Michael wins the Oscar. I've loved this dude ever since Batman. Birdman is better than great. Loved the film. I really want Michael to win the Oscar so badly.

Keaton definitely deserved that Oscar, but thankfully we have this. The best Kid Theater!
0:38&1:14 That's was my favorite😍street hard-core macho attitude language by playing a bad guy.
