Love this. Meatloaf was definitely a comfort food meal dish my Mom always made in my 90's childhood, especially during cold rainy weather or in the cold winter we always looked forward to my Mom's homemade meatloaf served with either cheese scalloped baked potatoes or mashed potatoes, and any kind of boiled or sauteed vegetables as aside.
All I can say is, meatloaf with cheese scalloped baked potatoes sounds mouthwateringly good and something I must try :) Cheers for sharing and wish you a fantastic lead up to christmas!
Thanks bro for the education. First thing I ever learned to cook was a meatloaf...20 years later its ended up on my specials menu and has hit home every time. Just wanted to know its history, great job!
Very well made! My only recommendation is maybe have the background music be at a bit lower volume! It wasn't too loud, but I'm here primarily to listen to you haha!
Omg I just made meatloaf it was amazing lol my fiance doesn't make it so I went ahead and made it he loved it and so did I now I'm all happy and got curious of it's history lol and it is a must with lots of Heinz ketchup 🍅 thanks this is a great video 👍

Meatloaf is definitely one of those "looks gross, tastes great" dishes. Thank you for the background on this thing.

I thank you for that & bid you welcome :)
Nice video! I've never been a fan of meatloaf. I needed to confirm my suspicions that someone made this "loaf" of abomination out of necessity.
Yeah, for some reason pemmican never really caught on in fine dining, either...
Now THAT is a dish I'd like to see on the menus more often :)

Time to redefine haute cuisine!
@@Khepramancer Hahahaa, exactly! Fat, grease & lard should be at the very forefront of this new gastronomical wave. It's only a matter of time!
Meatloaf is in the category of pate....more rustic, not refined, yet delicious
meatloaf

The mongols ate a hamburger no bun
That music is horrible and loud. Stop it.
