It's been a long time since a Deathcore song gave me actual chills up the spine. This is the kind of song you listen to in a dark room and find the abyss that patiently sits within us all, waiting to be acknowledged.
I can't say I've experienced a deathcore sludge- esq technical feel. One of a kind, unique .this is suuuuper interesting to hear, would be pretty difficult to recreate the polyrhythms and odd counting and whatnot. \M/

In a scene where slammers are a heavy majority of what we receive on release; this is super refreshing. HLB’s evil and analogous vibes have been influencing my writing a ton this summer. I expected evil when i seen humanities last breath in my youtube this morning, and thats what we got. A tempered and visceral calm in the hunt, beauty in the beast. Sound is like no other, and the vocals are absolutely brutal and feel much different than almost every band I’ve heard. Their musicianship is phenomenal all-together, you won’t regret listening to them. Black Tongue- Second Death, if you wish.
That’s what I love about that album too. It’s conceptual and story telling and the song structures feel like story telling and a journey when listening, not just repeating melodies and Motifs, etc... I think it makes the songs so much more interesting
