sorry to be offtopic but does anybody know of a way to log back into an instagram account? I stupidly forgot my login password. I love any assistance you can give me!
I've installed at my job an Ubuntu Linux 20 livepatch distro on 2 DELL POWEREDGE T140 servers; the BIOS options are more and quite different in comparison with your Dell server. I do remember that in the second server, I had problems so that the BIOS recognized the USB Drive. At last, I solved those problems. Thank you for this tutorial, colleague.
Hey i have an r410 and was wondering if you'd know how much tb harddrives i can have for all 4 slots? Or the max i can have? Can't find anything online
Awesome video... even though I will be ordering a Poweredge R620 soon, this video will definitely help me set it up... The fan noise doesn’t seem that bad... I’m running a FreeNas system on a 24 drive SuperMicro with dual power supplies... now that’s noisy!
Hello I want to create physical server setup same as we do on aws with ec2 tomcat nginx mysql installed on ec2. But in physical server how to install Linux ? tomcat nginx mysql in it ? how to connect each other ? Does this rufus will work same on linux os ? as i dont think so as there will be no windows from which i can do same steps.
yes, I just installed (literally minutes ago) Ubuntu 20.04 Server on a Dell PowerEdge R720 thanks to his hints on setting up the Raid Controller/Virtual Drives. The menus appeared identical
Good day sir. After I setup the Hardware Raid on my HP ML30 Gen10. During the Ubuntu Server installation, the Virtual Disk(RAID5) wasn't detected. I'm using the latest version of Ubuntu Server.
Hey men thank you, we are going to do it. In fact we have the same server model. one more question Its is possible that you can show us how did you connect the TV the serial port of the server? TOTAL Thank's regards from Mexico
hello! bro, can you help sharing with me which configurations in UEFI did you setup to made to install Ubuntu in R620? I'm trying to install Ubuntu 20.04 on an R620, but no success so far... BIOS Version is 2.9.0 I already tried through iDrac/virtual CD in BIOS and UEFI modes + AHCI and ATA modes. (Can't try with RAID because isn't an option.) Also tried through Lifecycle Controller in both BIOS and UEFI modes, and in when I try to deploy OS in "UEFI Mode", the "Any Other System" option doens't appear. When I try in BIOS mode, an empty purple screen appears and it goes into a black screen after, and nothing happens. When in UEFI mode, grub install screen appears (install ubuntu screen), but when I select the option to install, also goes into a black screen and nothing happens. ;(
what about those failed processes and ACPI Errors while setting up ubuntu? I think you can't just ignore that, if you want to set up a ubuntu server that runs like it should.
So, I have a refurbished R610 I just got a few days ago, trying to install linux and it errors out when the installer gets to installing kernal, and I dont know why. I'm trawling through the log file but it is making my eyes go crossed. Is there a common mistake that would cause it to fail at that point? (Side note, even connected directly to my modem, the ethernet port kept timing out, if that provides any useful info)
