Why the complaints on price? It's $50 less than the cheapest Citizen automatic and $100 less than the cheapest Tissot Automatic (add other $30 to get a bracelet) and is finished to a higher standard than either of them. The Seikos are already selling at 20% off MSRP, which brings these well below $300, which even undercuts many online-only micro brands powered by the same Seiko movement.
@@wanderer1125 The Tsuyosa retails for $450 vs. the Seiko at $395 (street prices even lower, of course). Hard to call either one superior in all aspects-the Citizen has a sapphire crystal, but the Seiko has double the water resistance. The movements are equivalent in terms of accuracy and reliability, though I personally prefer the Seiko due to the noise and wobble of Citizen's unidirectional winding mechanism, which feels cheap to me, but I've heard others voice a preference for it as a reminder of its mechanical nature. The rest of it comes down to design preference.
@@_RJ_Z already held one and I think it's a good watch but this is another 5KX and dressKX in terms of quality so why more expensive? Usually it will drop its price once it settles down after the hype. Until then, Tsuyosa is the better option.
It's your opinion and it's worth it. I personally prefer Seiko, I think it's much prettier, it's this reason that leads us to prefer some and not others.@@wanderer1125
I love the aesthetic on these. It's more of a color choice with black, tan, and that reddish orange seconds hand. I personally like the blue too. I saw an IG poll where people picked the champagne over black or blue, which I thought was interesting. I don't even consider it to be fauxtina, as you were talking about. I might be able to pull these off, but they're slightly smaller than I usually like. I'd love to see these in a ~39mm size as well, but I doubt we'll get that. These are timed perfectly with the ever decreasing size trends.
Can still get new old stock of the SNXS on the grey market. I got one of these new black dial ones when they were released a few months ago, loved it so much I got a new old stock SNXS75 silver dial with gilt hands. Both fantastic watches, the new model just better specs with the hacking and hand winding movement, upped water resistance and slightly easier to operate crown.
Do you have a video where you talk about all the stuff on your desk? The watch coins is something new I have noticed and would love to know more about them
I have done vids in the items at some point. Issue is I have so many damn vids lol. The challenge coins you can buy from me. The other stuff is just for show
which you think is better this seiko srpk or the tissot pr 100 with the date located down side? planning to buy my 1st watch.. the pricing of this both is the same in my country. Thanks!
I would definitely consider one, perfect size, styling, agree the champagne one is the best of the bunch, seiko lume will be good, kinda reminds me of an Datejust on a budget, with a day function, which I really like, 'BUT' no sapphire for this money is insane!!?
36, 37 have always been traditionally men's sizes. It's only in the recent past dials grew past 42. About the same time men also started identifying as non-men.
@@kresimirpleic i understand these sentiments but the snsx had their problems too (19mm lugwidth, trash bracelet, 30m water resistant, 7s26 movement). the new release fixed all of them. i agree that these do not justify the price bum (i just got a land tortoise for the same price). however, as marc from long island watch said, seiko has to battle grey market prices. conclusion: i dunno.
I received my blue example yesterday. It’s a fantastic watch. I can’t believe how well these watches are finished. That case is spectacular.
These watches are very classy and look like incredible value. Love the finishing and subtle dome shape on the crystal.
Love the Orange Monster, too. I need to drag that one out for summer

Citizen Tsuyosa is slightly cheaper than this new Seiko 5. And that's just a superior watch in all aspects. This watch is best at 150-200 USD.

Love the champagne colored dial 😍
Got the champagne SRPK today 🎉
I’m wearing mine watching this.
Same!!
@@matthewstrobelt564 👍🏻
what colour you go for? seen these in person today, so clean. will try on next time
@@Row2nd I went with the silver dial! Looks pretty cool.
"They just prefer the larger watch...and they cannot lie" 🤣LOve it!
they all look so cool!!
I like the champagne color that RR likes. Fantastic watches !!!
I have the champagne and black one. I love that the black is so deep/dark.
I love the framed date!! Something that's always missing on so many timepieces these days.
Finally someone I can agree with on the internet 😉. I have a Sharp Edge which does have a framed date.
People complaining about seiko in 5,4,3,2,1...👇
Hahaha 😂
Haha. So true
As regular as clockwork 😂
I love these seikos!!!! The blue looks so cool

A step up in quality. Solid bracelet, heavy, well finished case. Great little watch.
Lovely watches!! great size, better finish than SNXSs and just overall very exciting!!

No mention of better finishing or casing/bracelet? Would like to hear any differences you noticed between the two. Deciding between SNXS73 or SRPK91.
I like these alot. Can't decide between the black and champagne dial.
Did you choose?
William bracelet and 6r and it would be a perfect turtle dress watch.i would buy one without hesitation.
Where can I get mesh bracelets for a Seiko skx and a Orient Monarch? What brand do you recommend?
How do you shorten the bracelet length?

So the watch movement is based on winding the crown rather than movement of the wrist?
That champagne dial is on my radar, however, I'll wait for the sales, as they are currently 625AUD.

Anyone know how to adjust the bracelet on this one?
Love them, but they are way too small for me.
A dressy turtle♥️
Looks like they put a nice bracelet on this model.

I think this new dial looks a little bit cheap
The silver, champagne o whatever be that colour is the correct decision.
Trust in a Spaniard.
No.
@@Smolensk85 me parece muy bien.
@RandomRobReviews, I think you got the model names wrong in the title. It should be SRPK91, etc. not SRPD91, etc.
Yes thanks
Nice but too small watches🤷
The price is just ridiculous!Just no way for Seiko 5!
37.5mm? Do they make those in men's sizes?
Yeah actually it is an unisex. But just think about the tons and millions of 37mm Seiko 5‘s that Seiko is still producing and selling to men.
36, 37 have always been traditionally men's sizes.
It's only in the recent past dials grew past 42. About the same time men also started identifying as non-men.
37 mm is the best diameter
like 👍👍
2-3mm bigger. Half the price. Sold.
Overpriced and ugly designs
These sikos are garbage
Absolutely. I have the old one and it's probably the last mechanical watch Seiko made that is actually worth it's price. These ones are just trash.

Yet you keep coming back to Seiko. Weird.
Timeless piece. Wow
SRPK87, SRPK89 , what is the difference ???
The color of the dial
