Beauty! I really dig the blue dial and the cream colored indices. Definitely looks like a darling from Seiko. While we can all sigh at Seiko prices lately, it’s nice to see this quality level for what could still be considered an entry level automatic from a major, respectable manufacturer.
I know that everyone thinks these new SNSX series are a replacement for the earlier SNSX79 etc but I honestly think its a re-issue of the Seiko 5 6619-8230 from the 1960's, everything about these new SRPK 87/89/91's including dial's, case (the way the case hugs the wrist), hands etc is a modernization of the 6619-8230.....take a look.
I would consider one of these, but have many similar watches, plus the "new-old" fifty fathoms Seiko came out, this time i'll get it! (of course black dial + gilt hands/markers!!!). Be well Bob, thanks for the review.
which you think is better this seiko srpk or the tissot pr 100 with the date located down side? planning to buy my 1st watch.. the pricing of this both is the same in my country. Thanks!
I like this but why on earth is this so expensive? This is basically just another 5Kx and dressKX in terms of quality. What kind of crap is this pricing?
Ivory is my hands down favorite. I love the classic look
I really like that one too. Thanks!
I normally would gravitate toward the blue, but the tan dial gives it a more vintage vibe. Love all three!
The tan is a neat look for sure. Thanks!
Especially the no saphire glass gives you the full vintage experience🥰
I just bought the blue one. Very excited to put it at my wrist everyday. Thanks for your review!
Nice. Enjoy it!

Thanks man. Yeah I feel you there bit considering it's a pretty nice watch for the cost and I'm sure discounts will be available soon.

I have to agree. Just taking a look and they sure do look very similar.
All versions are beautiful , i already have a seiko 5 sports with blue dial so i would either buy the Champagne or black dial model .
I love this watch, have the blue dial version and I have worn it everyday. Definitely an upgrade from the original
Cool. Love the blue one although they all look great. Thanks!
Same here. I just bought the blue one a few days ago and wear it everyday.
How is the accuracy of the Watch ?
Really nice Video! Thank you. Great Watches by Seiko for an affordable price
Thanks so much!
I wish they would’ve used the old 5 and a solid case back.
They’re all very pretty but the blue is my favourite.
I'm torn between the blue and the tan but they all look really nice. Thanks!
Tough choice but I would have to say the black is my favorite
Can't go wrong with that one for sure.
Tra quello blu e quello crema ,una bella lotta!
Orologi così Citizen se le sogna

I have my eye on that one too. Might have to try to snag one myself. Thanks Stavros!
hello. is there a significant difference in build quality for the the made in japan models of this seiko 5?
Ive owned a few jdm Seiko and never noticed any major differences.
A great SARB alternative and I am digging that sand version. Nice review!
Totally agree. Yeah that sand one has something unique going for it. Thanks!
huh, what? totally different watch from SARB, stop comparing every watch as an "alternative"
Do you have to wind the crown to get the watch going or does it work based on wrist movement?
You can wind it and it also has a rotor that winds with the movement of your wrist.

That's a tough one. Both are a really good option. If you have the chance I'd try to try them on to help decide.
@@TimeToGoTravelAndTimepieces yeah haha thanks for the reply bro!
Why couldn't they make a grey sunburst version
That would be cool for sure. Bet they'll release more colors at some point.
Love all three. Sand grabs my eye, though. The price is a bit crazy, particularly in Cdn $$. Thanks Bob.
I really like them all too. Pretty sure you'll be able to get them at a discount eventually. Thanks!
That small crown makes winding an absolute pain
Yeah I found it tough to use too.
lume on my snxs77 is so ineffective that it might as well not be present
If only they didn't have the british teeth coloured lume

not really the retail shop prcing are worst
Crazy prices for a good, modest watch. But a whole lot of Seiko fanboys too 🤷♂️
Should be able to find a decent discount I think though eventually. Thanks.
@@TimeToGoTravelAndTimepiecesThat's true. Thanks for the review!
Seiko 5 field watch looks better and looks more expensive
