Enjoy your reviews! Just wanted mention in ‘23 the 1.5 has 175hp not 170hp. GM reworked the 1.5 with enough changes that they refer to it as a new power train. I only know this because I did extensive research before my parents just bought one. 😆 “According to GM Authority sources, the 2023 Chevy Equinox will be equipped with the turbocharged 1.5L I4 LSD gasoline engine, which will be rated at 175 horsepower at 5,800 rpm and 203 pound-feet of torque at 2,000 rpm. The turbocharged 1.5L I4 LSD gasoline engine will replace the turbocharged 1.5L I4 LYX gasoline engine equipped by the preceding 2022 model year, which was rated at 170 horsepower at 5,600 rpm and 203 pound-feet of torque at 2,000 rpm.”
You’re right! I do now remember reading about the 5hp increase at 200 RPM higher. Forgotten somewhere in between reading and filming, lol. Thanks for that correction, and for watching! 🙂
I would agree. I think they’re pretty good, and obviously sell extremely well. But I would go Forester personally. Also the Forester has a large enthusiast following and the Equinox has no such thing in comparison. Thanks for watching! 🙂
It's all looks and no power, their interior sucks, forget their sitting not enough room for your left leg, that goes numb after driving a few miles. I'll never buy an Equinox again
Good to see a car that can be purchased below MSRP.
Right?! Lol. Thanks for watching another one of my reviews! 🙂
I wonder if you'll ever be able to tune this turbo with aftermarket obd2 scanner software down the road.
Oh I’m sure you can! HP tuners seems to get GM engines unlocked pretty quickly. 😎
that's not a heads up display (hud) - it's simply a flashing led to let you know you're approaching a vehicle or other object too quickly.

Still a piece of junk don't buy one
What is the ground clearance over 8 inches I hope
I think 8” is the max ground clearance on a well spec’d Equinox. Thanks for watching. 🙂
Very nice Chevy. Not sure if it is a better vehicle than the Forester.

@@AutomotiveAnonymous208 if only they would put the 2.4L turbo in the Forester Sport. That would be one awesome vehicle!
Absolutely agree! Hopefully the next gen will get that option! 🤪

It's too bad Chevy got rid of the 2 liter turbo in these.
For sure, that would have been a legit power plant. And the aftermarket potential 😍
I think I’ll go with the Kia Sportage prestige with the panoramic sunroof plus the 187 horsepower 👨🏻❤️👍🏼‼️
Best of luck in your decision! Thanks for watching. 🙂
very distorted views of the exterior
I’m not sure what happened on this older video. Thanks for watching another one and sharing what you noticed! 🙂
Umm those wheels definitely are not black 🤔
too overpriced
