- In this video I do a side by side trim comparison of the 2023 Chevy Equinox RS AWD and the 2023 Equinox Premier AWD. The Equinox RS is finished in the Blue Glow exterior with the black interior and the Premier is finished in the Harvest Bronze with the black interior. The Equinox continues to be a popular choice in the midsize SUV segment but has started facing steep competition. Which one would you pick if you were in the market for a Equinox and why? Fog lights for me. I use them a lot on very dark roads at night.

Just picked up a blue premier.. prefer the standard tire and 18" wheel , the dealer agreed better ride than the 19" wheel and low profile tire..
I would say that is accurate although the ride difference may not be huge. Like I mentioned in the video, the 18" has a far superior turning circle compared to the 19".

Wireless Charging is not available outside of the Premier, Navigation is available on the LT and RS depending on what options are selected.
Just Pre-Ordered My RS Equinox & Thanks For Your Honest Opinion On The RS Model. But Am A Bit Bummed Out That It Does Not Come With The LED Fog Lamps And Navigation As It Should, But That Being Said It Is A Sportier Vehicle. So Looking Forward To My New Lease…..😊
I believe you can get navigation but not every one will have navigation so you'll just have to double check your exact vehicle. Glad this was helpful though!
@@CarsMadeSimple My Chevy Dealer Says As Long As You Have Apple Car Play or Waze You Should Be Good And Safe Yourself The $1,500. But I Feel Sort Of Cheated Out Of The LED Fog Lamps Though!

@@jaysmokin They Stopped Production On The 2023’s So Went Along With The 2024’s & Also Included The Navigation System Cause I Felt Something Was Missing If It Didn’t Come With Fog Lamps. Now I’m Just Waiting For Delivery On Order And Monthly Lease Amount! 🤞🏼

Nice cars, but way behind the competitions, won't buy one without 5k discount.
The rs is supposed to be the sporty model yet no fog lights available typical gm cost cutting 😂
I wish the Redline Priemer had a sunroof with park assist. 😢
Park assist was a separate option for some reason on certain configurations.
Thanks, I have the premier, purchased it because of the AWD feature. we just had a big storm, the car didn't dissapoint. Coming from a six cylinder, I must say the 4 cylinder is a bit of a drag. otherwise, great car!

I'm considering a new Equinox Premier. I have a 2011 w/only 85K miles. It has heated leather seats which were the premier trim at the time & power liftgate & fog lights No one buys the Equinox for speed...lol. I'm also looking at the KIA Sportage SX Prestige which is loaded with features, some above the Equinox Premier.

Yeah, those would be awesome still available with the 3.6
Not having the V6 is a deal breaker, looking at the Traverse instead.
The Blazer or Traverse would be good options both can be had with the V6.
Do all Rs for the equinox have pano sunroof?
No, it is still optional on the RS.
the premier has everything but the RS has the price. Uggghhhhhhhhh
The 19" black wheels and lack of fog lamps are a turn off so it would be the Premier for me

Just upgraded from a 2021 Midnight edition to RS. I think the RS aesthetic is nicer. For us the premium features were not an issue. The 2023 is noticeably quieter. It ride nicely too. Going to be a good vehicle for road trips.
Congrats! The RS is definitely my pick also. Interesting to hear that it might be a little more quiet on the inside.
Wish you had chosen a different color vehicle for the Premiere.. that color just was not very stand out imo its very "blah" and it didn't make the vehicle look as attractive to make someone want to buy it. I'm looking for videos to see whether or not it's a car that I would want to have but for me it's hard to get past that color.

And no power folding mirrors? For almost $40K? Seriously Chevy? 🤡 also, why did they lose the lock/unlock button on all 4 door handles when older models had it but now it’s only on the 2 front doors only 🤦♂️
