@@xbpbat21x 15" tire and 3500# axle on my tiny trailer! I have the door lock hinges on both sides of the rear ramp so maybe I can work that into a tire carrier...

Thanks for watching! I was looking at the expedition 2.0. and the off grid guys. They had a very nice package for the price. The only thing holding me back was the weight and width. My Jeep lacks power and barley pulls itself. This one is 1100 lbs dry and has almost the exact same wheel track as my Jeep. Happy trails, Hal Cheers!

I built a fifth-wheel hitch for the toy-hauler, also converted from a commercial chassis. About six years ago, I changed both hitches to gooseneck. . Based on our experience, on the rough logger tracks to remote mountain lakes or across deserts to isolated Baja beaches, we realized the gooseneck combo offers: * greater articulation * much less bounce. . Nearly two decades full-time live-aboard. We think this's a pretty good idea.
In the defense of the manufacturer...it was during the pandemic and with supply chain break downs...It took a year and 2 months from the time I put in my order. With the add ons, the total was $32,000.
If you want to sell your TK 4.7 let me know.I contacted Overkill a few weeks ago and they said they were not going to make them anymore. They were only going to concentrate on that SO5.10.
On the interstate, yes. Went to Sedona and was hard pressed to maintain 55 through the mountains...Off road I stay in 4 lo and it does well. Will you be going to the Expo in Flagstaff in May?

That's a difficult question to answer...it depends a lot on what your priorities are. This trailer is more for off road. I tell people this will sleep two "cuddly". The SO has the slide out and a bigger bed. The trade off is that it is heavier. So, comfort, or capability.
