THANK YOU!!!!!! Best video out of all I’ve seen today for this.. No one was mentioning anything about the sandpaper before painting and I was like “that can’t be right” not only did you mentioned it but you also gave a great option to do it!!! Five stars reel!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This came through my feed at the most perfect timing! I just decided I'd redo my upstairs bathroom. When I was painting the walls, I was contemplating if I should redo the cabinets but because I didn't want to put a ton of money in the sanding equipment, not to mention the added time, I decided not to BUT I really wanted to. This is my sign. Thank you for this tip!
I'm starting up and making a list of products and tools I need to start out. Do you have a video like that? Thank you for this. "LIQUID sandpaper " and scrub pad...added to the list . Greco true coat sprayer
Wow, great timing. I want to paint my kitchen. But the cabinets have way too much paint to paint over them again. (House built in 1924) . I never heard of liquid sandpaper before. I'll give it a try. Hopefully it can go through several types of paint that is layered on. Thanks for the tip.
thank you for this because I want to start diy furniture repair from thrift stores and I was definitely concerned about having to one buy a sander tool and two the dust

Whoohoo!!! This is a game-changer, because dang, Hubby is allergic as heck to the pine that our fugly cabinets are made of. Nice to not have the dust for him to deal with!!!
Great plan….unfortunately the tip you’re using is not the fine finish tip. You’re using the general 515 tip which is great for basically everything like siding and exterior trim…. but not meant for cabinets

You'd be a fool to not sandpaper something you're painting, house, car, cabinets, walls
Yeah, literally every single video says you have to sand before he paints because that’s how the paint bonds to the surface
@worrylessnless6222 why would you sandpaper a wall? Primer is not enough?
Most people know you have to sand before painting unless it’s interior walls which we still sand but use a big sanding wand for.
@@shell7133you sand a wall so you don’t have orange peel texture
Love it! I had no idea this existed! Thank you!
Need to do this and I was using a sander but I am not going to I'm going to use your method. Thank you it more than came through with the right time!
Make sure you label each door to go back to the exact place it came from.
Use the underside edge.
If you have the tape, how to paint over it
Good mention
Good point
Great advice on Liquid Sandpaper ! Thanks!

Sanding rotary or or orbital and is great, less than$30 on Amazon
Also sanding is very fast
Me too cause I'm looking into painting my kitchen cabinets
Mine to.
Lol power sander way cheaper than a good sprayer
Thank you! 🙏🏻 I didn't even know that product existed.
Thank you! So informative and helpful. I’m excited to start on my kitchen cabinet project after watching how easy and great yours turned out.
Is there a full video version of this short?
By applying the liquid sandpaper with that green pad you technically wet sanded but still effective to avoid dust

Thanks for the blog for painting.
Cabinets
love the side by side of you two working
What up girlfriend?
Great video with clear concise description. My wife and I tried a mixture of acetone and sanding. It worked but was stinky and physically involved.
Thank you for your video!❤ I was so stressed from trying to learn how to paint my cabinets! Thank you so much!
All in one paint is awesome. No sanding its been about a year now with heavy use and still looks great. Save your energy.
What brand?

Very smart. Great video
Thank you so much for sharing!!! I was looking video something like this!!! ❤
Easy enough ... I just went to home depot and got some ... about to tackle this kitchen of mine... thanks
Thank you Ms. Neesie, I bookmarked for my own project , favorited and subscribed.
Good video! Good work!
My suggestion is that you get you some tyvek booties, if you are painting on the floor, like that!
Enjoy!
Thank you for the review of liquid sandpaper. I've heard about it, but never heard if it really works or not!!
wilbond works way better than that crap
Hey thanks for the tips that turned out awesome
Would like to see finish product. Also type of paint, glosser you used. Ty.

Have you done a follow up video to show the doors back in situ?
Brilliant idea
I use legos to slightly elevate things for painting.

Solid and practical method
Perfect timing. Bought the sprayer at Home Depot
Thanks for the video; I want to paint my cabinets the same color any recommendations on the paint color name and primer?

And recommend a bonding primer so never peels then finish off with 3 to 6 costs of urethane or laquer
There's far superior coatings than lacquer these days for cabinets.

Good info, thank you!!
what type paint ? is it a prime mix
What type of paint do you use. I was thinking of using polyurethane paint like used for painting cars.
After the liquid sandpaper did youbwipe it with anything else before painting?
Yes we just used a micro fiber rag
Great advice!
Great information thank you for sharing
What color and brand of paint did you use..??
Traditional cleaning of the cabinet doors, before using the de-glosser is an important step.
they probably did it before of camera but go off
Do you a cabinet specific paint? Do you seal the cabinets once complete or add anything at the end once you finish painting?
We like to use pre catalyzed paint from Sherwin Williams. It’s extremely durable and hardens really well so it’s great for a kitchen
@@NeesieDoesIT do you use an additional top coat finishing product, I'm wondering if I should use one or not

I’m sooo happy you used a spray gun. You should set up a paint tent tho. Just my humble opinion. Btw they look amazing GJ!!
I'm going to just do it outside in the lawn lol.
What’s the name of the yellow small things? To put the wood on it for easy painting, right?
Excellent !
I've used liquid sander, it's great for varnish
Sanding will give a smoother finish. Sand between each coat, including primer.
😂 love it where do I pick up these products in a specially the paint gun
Where did you get the little stands to hold to cabinets
Amazon. Here is the link amzn.to/3RStgtm

Omg thank you so much for this video
ALWAYS *Sand & *Prime first!!!!
*DO NOT cut corners when it comes to painting cabinets!!! The extra steps are well worth it!!!
You're making too much sense, next thing you'll say is to connect your sander to your vac for no dust.
@@williammorales8204 liquid sandpaper is handy, but yes attaching a shop vac to your sander would also be a dust free way to sand. :p

Are those wood cabinets? Will this work on I guess non wood cabinets? Not sure if it’s particle board or what?
Never used a sprayer before, are they pretty straight forward/beginner friendly?
Yes but you need to read the instructions carefully then practice on cardboard first
What type of paint did you use
Once you sand using liquid sand do you need to apply primer? Before painting?
What color should I use for the kitchen cabinet and how should I mix the color?
wow great tips!
Do you have issues when you point them down ? I seem to loose the suction when I die so so only point at an angle
If you let the no sander sit on overnight, what's the effect??!? Total removal of paint?
what color did you use? ❤

Maybe do this in the garage or outdoors?
Whoohoo!!! This is a game-changer, because dang, Hubby is allergic as heck to the pine that our fugly cabinets are made of. Nice to not have the dust for him to deal with!!!
So how do you apply the stain if you do not have the equipment. Can you apply by hand ?
Is there a full video of kitchen cabinets painting?
did you have to dilute the paint? Also was the paint an enamel?
AMAZING
What about the cabinets on the wall? Should I take them down or spray paint them on the wall??
How did you deal with paint accumulating in the corners and edges of the cabinet shaker doors?
I have the sprayer, works amazing. I have painted cabinets with chips everywhere, I think I would have to remove the paint first.
Did you have to clean them after the liquid sand paper ??
How much is that machine ?
So you only took the gloss off and painted over the old paint??
What color is that grey?
I use straight ammonia to remove varnish.
Ammonia is too strong for me.
Animals sometime confuse the ammonia smell with that other ammonia ( the one from urine). Don't let your dog lift his leg!😄
🤣🤣
Ive never had any luck with ammonia.
It doesnt seem strong enough for me.
And we do have dogs. 😂
Good job

Does this work on laminated cabinets or only real wood cabinets?
Can I apply new stain after that process??
