Wonderful video ! Series 40 with a lovely old station building - the clock is a treasure ! Can anyone who speaks English tell me what line this is, and does the line terminate at that little station ? Reminds me of the film ' Poppoya ' !
Thank you very much for your enlightening reply. You Tube has, in their infinite wisdom ( ! ) decided to do away with the comment translations making it very difficult for both Japanese and non Japanese speaking people. If you are Japanese then even bigger thanks for your very good English.
Oh fantastic ! Yes, I like you, am fascinated with Japans railways, nation and people. I in fact like all Asian peoples because of their ( your) life values, civilization and culture. I would love to be able to live in an Asian country -especially Japan ( somewhere along the Kisuki line - which must be one of my personal favourites - I love quiet and countryside) Thank you very much for your kind offer of discussing our mutual passion for railways. I will certainly be very happy to 'speak' with you again. By the way my friend, have you got this website on your computer ? www.bae.se/kitayama/index.htm If not, I'm sure you will enjoy it very much. Apart from watching many hours of JR vids from Japanese railfans, I also have some HO gauge models from Japan, as I 'm in the process of changing from a mid 60's British layout to - guess what ? - a Japanese one !! So far, one DD 51, 2x 'koki' container wagons, and a 2 car series 40 dmu set. Before I forget, I'm from England. I have a channel on here - just click on the picture icon. Btw, I am also ex railman, so it's in the blood !
