Dear Arah, I’ve been using menstrual cups for years, mainly Diva cup. Yes, it is pricey but worth every penny. One tip for every woman who wish to try use it: pinch the bottom of the cup attached to the stem. The stem is only really there so you can feel where it is in you. Once you pinch it, the vacuum/suction will release and it will be a breeze to pull out. No more pulling and tugging. Good luck ladies! Xx

Discovered menstrual cup and I’m never coming back to diapers. Yes, diapers. Super heavy flow sakin di keri ng pads. Super mahal ng nappy. Sis, same!! I use diapers as well. Even with diapers, ang hirap mag hanap na nung hindi ka magkaka rashes. So I pulled the trigger na with menstrual cup.

You just have to find the right cup for you para mas madali ang transition from pads to a cup. Research is the key here ghorls. My first cup is an Anytime cup but it's too firm for me, na-trauma ako sa insertion but more sa removal. Hindi ko sya ginamit ulit, then next cycle i tried again, a bit easier but I decided to switch to a softer cup I ordered from Amazon, a Demesex cup. It's a lot softer and I love it but I searched for another cup na FDA approved for my peace of mind. It's similar to Demesex in terms of its shape, length and diameter as well as firmness. It's my Luna Cup, a brand from South Korea. Hopefully, it will work just fine, will try it on my next period. Fingers crossed.
been using cups since 2014. started out with diva cups, bought saalt cups -- best cup for me, hands down at the moment. their cause is amazing, pioneered by two women, and they give back to chairty and donate their cups to communities. pricey? yes, but in the long run you save more. no more wipes, pads, chemicals. all you need is some clean water, eash cloth, and a gentle wash for the cup. if you guys don't want to dish out too much money for it, go for the sinaya bundle. :) planning to pick up the cloth pads for days where i can't be bothered. to prevent uti, drink plenty of water. some cups are designed to fit a lower/higjer cervix, so it won't hit/press on your urethra. i love that silicone cups are hygenic, prevents the odor that comes with pads and tampons, prevents side effects of tampons. best part is walang tagos during the day, during exercise or sports,and especially at night. thanks for posting the vid and educating other girls to use cups! :)

I’m a menstrual cup convert. I’m using Lily One cup, yung collapsible. I love the ring type ng stem at saka very portable kasi nacocolapse sya. A tip siguro para easy yung pagremove, you have to fully relax, inhale exhale then para kang iire then pinch the base para matanggal yung suction. Sobrang saya ako na achieved ang first month. I even went to swim with it. No cramps. No smell.
Di ko pa na try ang MC pero may napapanood ako about MC. To know your cup size dapat alam mo saan yung cervix mo using your finger. Kasi di komportable kapag wrong size ginamit mo. If ever struggle kayo sa sizing pwede naman magpatingin sa doctor just to make sure you will use the right cup. May mga videos din how to measure your cervix using your finger.

Also having a bit of water/moisture on it after washing or before inserting is not a problem. I actually find it easier to insert when it’s wet. Most of the time I apply waterbased lubricant on it before inserting. Usually do it in the shower. It’s so much easier. And cleanup is so quick.

@@luzvimindadeleon8734 Actually po, menstrual cup are cleaner to use than pads :) You might notice that the blood in our pads will start to smell if you don't change it out after a few hours because it's already been exposed to bacteria in the air. Unlike when using menstrual cups, where the blood is not exposed to air, until to take it out (No funny smell! unless you left it in for more than 12 hrs~). Of course, it's your choice if you want to keep using pads :) But it's best to do proper research first so we don't have any uneducated bias :) Have a good day po~

Nasa loob po yan mismo ng V***** naka position kung saang parte lumalabas ung menstruation, at hindi po yan naka position kung saan lumalabas ung urine/ihi ng isang babae. At ung urine/ihi ng isang babae lumalabas po mismo yun sa urethra part hindi mismo sa V***** ng isang babae. Nasa labas po sya banda, hindi po sa loob mismo ng V***** kung saan lumalabas mismo ung menstruation ng isang babae. You just have to find the right cup for you para mas madali ang transition from pads to a cup. Research is the key here ghorls. My first cup is an Anytime cup but it's too firm for me, na-trauma ako sa insertion but more sa removal. Hindi ko sya ginamit ulit, then next cycle i tried again, a bit easier but I decided to switch to a softer cup I ordered from Amazon, a Demesex cup. It's a lot softer and I love it but I searched for another cup na FDA approved for my peace of mind. It's similar to Demesex in terms of its shape, length and diameter as well as firmness. It's my Luna Cup, a brand from South Korea. Hopefully, it will work just fine, will try it on my next period. Fingers crossed.

to prevent uti, drink plenty of water. some cups are designed to fit a lower/higjer cervix, so it won't hit/press on your urethra.
i love that silicone cups are hygenic, prevents the odor that comes with pads and tampons, prevents side effects of tampons. best part is walang tagos during the day, during exercise or sports,and especially at night.

Also having a bit of water/moisture on it after washing or before inserting is not a problem. I actually find it easier to insert when it’s wet. Most of the time I apply waterbased lubricant on it before inserting. Usually do it in the shower. It’s so much easier. And cleanup is so quick.

@@luzvimindadeleon8734 Actually po, menstrual cup are cleaner to use than pads :) You might notice that the blood in our pads will start to smell if you don't change it out after a few hours because it's already been exposed to bacteria in the air. Unlike when using menstrual cups, where the blood is not exposed to air, until to take it out (No funny smell! unless you left it in for more than 12 hrs~).
Of course, it's your choice if you want to keep using pads :) But it's best to do proper research first so we don't have any uneducated bias :) Have a good day po~

@@charitycoronel3178 ipush mo yung one side papunta sa lower middle ng cup then pasok mo na yung part na di mo ginalaw, pag nasa loob na yung part na nakataas lang, pwede mo na bitawan yung part na tinupi mo then kakasya na yun sa loob. check mo rin kapag nakaplace na ng maayos yung cup, minsan kasi nakatupi pa rin kahit nasa loob na. malalaman mo namang nakaclose na talaga yung cup kapag may naramdaman kang parang vacuum sa loob mo or may narinig kang pop sound. if di mo gets, search mo yung push-down method on menstrual cup sa google. hope this works!
