Dominance score is adjusted for opponent strength. For example, beating a top 5 team by a touchdown is a much better performance than beating a winless team by a touchdown. What dominance score does is it quantifies the difference between those two performances, and many more. The opponent rating is their average margin of victory, when adjusted for strength of schedule. The dominance score is simply the margin of victory added to the opponent’s rating. I came up with this stat, but I am sure someone else has made something similar.
