I am having same trouble , same code with my 2018 Silverado and I would like to know if you could help me with the procedure to Fix it!! Please! I am writting you from Guatemala and unfortunately we do not have any support nor helping information! Thanks!!
Hello Idewild Garage, what other symptoms was the Suburban having in addition to inoperable controls and unresponsive touch in the radio setting? Would the music cut off too? And did the screen go black upon startup?
Do the CD players need to be programmed to the vehicle? I’m having a similar issue, and thought if I could at least try the player from my brothers truck in mine, just to see if it fixed my problem.
It's a network communication code for the most bus on GM vehicles. the code is stored in the radio module. the car charger/ 12v ports are not on that network. they get power and ground elsewhere. Usually for other networks there would need to be a module that checks items on that specific network. Kinda like how a pcm would check a coolant temp sensor. the body control module might be able to see it, but the code would set in the pcm. I'm not sure about other brands for this specific code.

What if your radio screen is completely dead and nothing is operational? And your info screen on your speedo says audio off
I have this same issue! Did you find a probable cause? A repair? Thanks!
Hmi module
Thanks for post this video, did it resolve the concern?
Yes replacing the amp fixed it.
@@idlewildgarage1146 I thought u said it’s a bad DVD player

If you can fix it, let me know please!! I dont know how yo do it
Andres Minera i bypassed the CD player using jumper wires and the screen still doesn’t come on. Thinking it’s my HMI.
@@dtchavez92 where can i buy a jumper to try?
Sorry that you still have the problem :/
Andres Minera I just used 2 small pieces of wire. Not sure how “safe” that is. 5&7 together and 6&8 together. Might need to look that up to be sure.
Many thanks.
Can you use a jumper wire in place of that tool?? Or is there no way around it
i'm not sure. the tool is designed to basically jump or bypass the device. I'm guessing it's possible. sorry for not giving a hard yes or no.
You can use a twisted pair jumper wire
There are lackings.
Is it possible to have this error code if something, say dashcam/car charger, in the 12v port? Nice video btw!

@@idlewildgarage1146 Thanks for replying. I was trying to troubleshoot my 2014 Civic. Anyway, looks like my VSA just needed an update.
@@jeffreyromualdo3319 all you did was a software update
