This sounds horrible but there is actually a market for single shoes. Amputees buy single shoes so they don't have to pay full price. Take the singles and list them with the following example "amputee left/right shoe".... list it half of what you would if you had the pair. Sounds horrible, but actually makes sense.
Get more bags and maybe you’ll luck out and get the other shoes. I would love for you to do a follow up video in 2 months and let us know what items from this sold and for how much.
Even though you didn’t keep most of it, you still got some pretty good stuff! You should do it again and compare the first time around to the second. Great video Ashley! 💕
I love watching mystery bag/bin/pallet videos! I think you got a good score. Even if you sold the leftovers in a garage sale y For $1 an item I'm sure you can squeeze some your money out of that too.
One of my favorites of your videos! Not only are you a top-notch reseller, but you've gotten really good at being both informative and entertaining with your videos.
Seems like this would be a good inexpensive way for someone getting started in clothing reselling to learn about brands and values. Nice to have time at home to research everything and learn.
Hi Ashley. You should consider keeping a bin of damaged clothing that is of a really good quality fabric/material and look to hook up with somebody who's craft is sewing, design and creating/repurposing. You could offload it in bulk on such a person or strike up some kind of deal whereas you provide all the fabric/material.. they then do the work - you then sell on your outlets and then split whatever profits based on whatever deal you make. If you are dealing clothes mainly, it really makes sense if you can find somebody skilled at that. All kinds of customised bags seem to do well.
Great video yet again. It was great to see the full range of emotions on these bags, a little excitement to disappointment. I thought it was fun, and for an in and out of the thrift store in 5 mins to buy the bags, seemed like a good return.
Hi Ashley! I keep checking for a new video, lol. Wonder if you got more mystery bags? That was so fun to watch though I totally get why they can be not so worth it and a bit of a pain! 😅 All of your videos are great! Take care and stay safe. 🏡🌅💕
My son just came home from college for a semester to get ready for a church mission so we can do this together. I think he can make more than minimum wage doing this, and I get to spend time with him! This kind of video is a great help as you go through the items of “keep” and “discard” quickly so he can learn which brands to watch for and which to pass over. So I hope you do more! (But what a pain to have to get rid of the discard pile!)
The video was fun and a realistic evaluation of mystery bag potential...or not. thanks. Do you know when you're going to share the accounting spreadsheet that your husband was putting together? I'm really looking forward to it. Thanks very much.
Thanks for sharing and caring! Maybe you could sell the unsellable in lots? I think it would be worth it to try mystery bags again at least one more time to test the consistency of sellable items? Also, it's kind of fun with the whole mystery of it! Also, a great way to find new brands worth picking up when regular thrifting.
I love this as well! It was exciting to see if you had any stellar items. As long as you are making your money back and make enough to make it worth your time!
Mystery bags?! Sign us up!! Hahaha. How fun!! We're just living vicariously through you and we'll just go back digging through the Goodwill Outlet bins. 😂
great video ashley!! Maybe the "no" pile you can lot up and sell all like sizes or mystery style. Im sure there are some resellers that cant get out to thrift and would pay a few bucks!! Always love you info! you are amazing
Consider taking the things you can't sell to a consignment shop. I've been offloading some inventory at a local consignment shop for a while and, even though you don't make much, you can make something from those middle/low end brands.
I love that thrift store I shop there often if you're really into mystery bags the other location does it also $100 for a thousand pounds so between 22 and 25 bags I love the mystery and usually one bag pays for the whole lot.
There was a whole montage of ideas going through your brain at 1:03 🤣 This was a lot of fun to watch. Vintage VS is one of my favorites to sell, too. That top looked like silk. That'll probably flip quickly. Also, the eBay sourcing guide says golf products start to increase starting around this time. Don't know how golf season is with the pandemic, but this is the best time to list gold stuff 👀
I made a bulk clothes purchase in December from an downsizing ebayer. I wouldn't pick up a lot of what was in the lot, but it has kept me going through the winter. I'm looking forward to yard sale season! I do think I would make a bulk purchase like this again this Fall/Winter if the price is right. Thanks for the video!
Fun watching mystery unbagging "clothes edition" lots of laughter at the disgusted face reactions to socks and other things. It reminded me of how I feel when I find certain things in mystery bags. 🤢 Thanks for sharing always good to hear what does and doesn't sell for others on the fly.
Hey girl! Love your videos! So, if you list the clothing you're getting rid of for free on craigslist, you'd be surprised how many people desperately need clothing. I think it would be a great way to get rid of it😊❤️
I bought 5 bags as well last weekend. So much fun, was able to keep about 15%, and plan to go back next weekend for more. None of my shoes had matches 🙃
Watching this later, but wondering if you ever have garage sales to clear out duds? Getting a dollar for it is better than nothing. I’ve done that before and made about $49-50 on just the clothes that I was able to turn around and reinvest at the thrift store on better inventory. 😊💕
I am in my 3rd year of selling on ebay and mercari. It seems like you and I have the same experience, we know what sells for US. We have a business plan. If the item does not fit the plan it is "otta here." Leather things do not seem to sell for me. I always pick up silk or cashmere, even no name brands sell.
I'm a new viewer, now subscriber. I'd love for you to do a follow up later to see what actually happened with the pieces you were going to try to sell. Thanks!
List the single shoes!!!! Don't forget about amputies, or broken legs or feet that cannot wear both shoes. I had so much swelling I could not wear my normal size so had to waist money for one shoe that I tossed after swelling went down. It's worth a try.
Great haul , I also LOVE surprises . Robert Talbot is a great very expensive Brand . Look for Carmel and Best of class Robert Talbot . It's Kind of dying down but still sells very well .
Hey I LOVED this haul. While not the types of items you normally pick up, definitely great content and I would if you could keep track of this hauls listing and see what your totals are on it.
hey girl, love this haul you did pretty good for blinding getting it, I would for sure get more bags! I sell wild fable all the time and thats a cute jacket. Also, I've sold those LOFT camo pants before for like $25.
Lot up the things u don’t think u can sell and try that. I think that is a great return on investment. U saved time, u made a great video, u can donate some things to an animal shelter, honestly u hit the jackpot!
Grew up going to John Lewis in London. You should check out John Lewis Christmas adverts (they are themed commercials), they do a new one each year, they have some good ones.
You are so positive even with those facial expressions. Making lemonade out of lemons. I'm cracking up through this whole thing. There is all this crap but theres some ok, it's ok I maybe can sell this or that errr maybe its cute lol lol lol
Hey I love your videos, I was wondering if you don’t source at the nps store, they always have great deals on brand new clothes. sometimes they even have clothes for $1. You should give it a try.
It was fun to watch and I just want you to find those matches for the boots and shoes. So I say yes get more bags! Hopefully you can find something to do with the other duds!
You'd be surprised on Cat & Jack sometimes! Always worth checking the dresses. Some of the pieces can hit blogger favorite status with the mommy bloggers and go for $100+
WOW some decent items....yes sell the shoes for amputees, some of those no's id put in bags of like sizes and sell on facebookmarketplace...10$ a bag, anything i cant sell on ebay i may put on facebbok, sometimes free or small amts of money ....thank u for sharing
Crazy because I got like 20 mystery clothing bags out of an abandoned storage unit I purchase this past weekend. IM SUPER SCARED TO GO THROUGH THEM. lol.
I really enjoyed this video and would like to see more of these. I think you did well. I was trying to think what you can do with the items you don't want for your business. You could put the rest in bags and sell the lot for 30 dollars to get your money back. Perhaps remove anything that's really damaged. Or seperate everything into piles: household items like blankets, etc, and sell those in a lot. Ladies tops. Children's clothes, mens clothes. Sell on FB market place in bundles. There are so many people who are poor and need clothes at a low price or people who sell at flea markets and need stock. Old t-shirts can be cut and the cotton sold in bundles to mechanics who always need a bag of clean rags. I know because my ex husband was a mechanic. You cut off the sleeves and collar so that you just have two big squares of the front and back of a t-shirt. And from a humanitarian point of view, some can be donated to animal shelters and shelters for the homeless that desperately need help. I think it will help grow your channel if people see you buy these mystery bags, and see you seperate everything into categories. Those for your business and what you do with the rest. Thanks for sharing and I hope you do so well with everything. Look forward to more. Love from Germany
Maybe divide the leftovers into men's bags and women's bags and drop them off at a shelter were they can be used. Then pillows and blankets for animal shelters.
This sounds horrible but there is actually a market for single shoes. Amputees buy single shoes so they don't have to pay full price. Take the singles and list them with the following example "amputee left/right shoe".... list it half of what you would if you had the pair. Sounds horrible, but actually makes sense.
This is a great idea! Thank you 🙏🏻❤️ I would hate for them to go to waste!
This is awesome to know since i found a single Rothy in perfect condition at the bins yesterday!!!
Not horrible at all, makes perfect sense!
I never would have thought of that. Thank you!
I would have never have thought about that. Thanks for sharing! I find beautiful shoes but their singles
Get more bags and maybe you’ll luck out and get the other shoes. I would love for you to do a follow up video in 2 months and let us know what items from this sold and for how much.

Great video! I'd love to see more of these! NE Texas does the mystery bags as well - they are so hit or miss
Great video yet again. It was great to see the full range of emotions on these bags, a little excitement to disappointment. I thought it was fun, and for an in and out of the thrift store in 5 mins to buy the bags, seemed like a good return.
Really enjoyed this! Ty, Ashley, I love watching you go thru the bags. It’s super- fun! 😃
Yesssss- BUY MORE BAGS ! That was fun
Hi Ashley! I keep checking for a new video, lol. Wonder if you got more mystery bags? That was so fun to watch though I totally get why they can be not so worth it and a bit of a pain! 😅
All of your videos are great!
Take care and stay safe. 🏡🌅💕
I really enjoyed this , yes get more !
Loved it! Would like to see you buy more of these bags. The mystery is fun.

That was fun to watch. I only do hard goods but thinking of expanding to clothing one day, I learn a lot from you! Thanks Ashley! 😊
This was so fun to watch! I'm so glad you got some solid items to sell 🙌.
The video was fun and a realistic evaluation of mystery bag potential...or not. thanks. Do you know when you're going to share the accounting spreadsheet that your husband was putting together? I'm really looking forward to it. Thanks very much.
awesome video I love the Brooklyn sweater!! keep up the good work. I learn a lot on this channel
I actually loved this video, would love to see you pick up more and see where it take you 👍🏻
I love this as well! It was exciting to see if you had any stellar items. As long as you are making your money back and make enough to make it worth your time!
Hello 👋 I love your videos and YES 👍 PLEASE Buy more of those bargain bags they are worth it.
This is amazing! I want to find these bags! It’s so exciting.
I liked your video. I learned alot from your going through the items and saying those that you would and even wouldn't sell.
Mystery bags?! Sign us up!! Hahaha. How fun!! We're just living vicariously through you and we'll just go back digging through the Goodwill Outlet bins. 😂
Love all the noises and you tried to stay so positive :)
That was a lot more value, and fun than some companies boxes they sell. Would like to see more of these.
Can you make a video of how to organize the receipts of purchases and sales for for filling the taxes.
great video ashley!! Maybe the "no" pile you can lot up and sell all like sizes or mystery style. Im sure there are some resellers that cant get out to thrift and would pay a few bucks!! Always love you info! you are amazing
I loved this video! I vote yes to more bags!
Plse another trip! Those will still sell. $ is $!
Consider taking the things you can't sell to a consignment shop. I've been offloading some inventory at a local consignment shop for a while and, even though you don't make much, you can make something from those middle/low end brands.
Great video!! I would definitely go back for more😊
You should donate the blankets, towels and pillows to the animal shelter because they could use it 🐶😺
Great idea!
none of my donation places want blankets and pillows including 2 animal places, due to covid. Just wanted to toss in what I have seen in my area.
Loved the video.
Thred up takes donations
I agree! Dog kennels ALWAYS need blankets, towels, etc! ❤
Buy more bags it was fun looking and learning about what products are worth.
I love that thrift store I shop there often if you're really into mystery bags the other location does it also $100 for a thousand pounds so between 22 and 25 bags I love the mystery and usually one bag pays for the whole lot.
There's knowledge in that pile of cast off's. Please do it again and discuss the "no" pile a little more. Great content, thanks again!
Yes my thought exactly
Massive cool points for you! When you were laughing at yourself the whole intro I was dying! 💜
There was a whole montage of ideas going through your brain at 1:03 🤣 This was a lot of fun to watch.
Vintage VS is one of my favorites to sell, too. That top looked like silk. That'll probably flip quickly.

Thank you, Michael! Great point about the golf items - hopefully they move quickly 😆🙏🏻❤️
I love this type of video. I would enjoy seeing you do it one more time.
I loved it! The looks on your face when you pulled out the losers...😂😂😂
Thanks for sharing! Loved the mystery of it and it was fun watching!
Fun watching mystery unbagging "clothes edition" lots of laughter at the disgusted face reactions to socks and other things. It reminded me of how I feel when I find certain things in mystery bags. 🤢 Thanks for sharing always good to hear what does and doesn't sell for others on the fly.
The best part “I like math..*laugh*..no” 😂😂😂😂😂
Yes! Lol.
This was fun to watch! Glad you’re still gonna make a decent profit! Thanks for sharing :)
Hey girl! Love your videos! So, if you list the clothing you're getting rid of for free on craigslist, you'd be surprised how many people desperately need clothing. I think it would be a great way to get rid of it😊❤️
I liked this. I like most of your content either way, but I enjoyed this kinda new surprise element
Thank you! 🥰🥰
Yes! More mystery bags, please!!
My first time watching, loved this video.
This was a great video. Curious if you now wash all those clothes before you list them? Enjoying all your videos😊
This video was soooooooo much fun to watch! Your reactions are priceless 😂
I love these hauls!!!! Where is this thrift store located?
Though thrifing is fun, it can be time consuming. So, not too bad for saving some time. Great finds! ♡ I would have been happy, for sure!
Fun video! I enjoyed seeing your finds!
I bought 5 bags as well last weekend. So much fun, was able to keep about 15%, and plan to go back next weekend for more. None of my shoes had matches 🙃
Haha oh no! At least it’s consistent 😆
Where do you buy these mystery bags? I live in L.A. and never seen this 😩
Separate by size and sell bulk on fb marketplace

Wow! Impressed by what you pulled out of those bags, especially for the low price
You should try crossroads for the BDG and target stuff. I bring them a lot of no name brand cute items and trade them in for better stuff.
First time viewer and subscriber. I think it was worth it for the potential profit. Look forward to your next video. Thanks for sharing.
That is awesome you got all that for 30 bucks....I need to find a place like that around here
List the single shoes!!!! Don't forget about amputies, or broken legs or feet that cannot wear both shoes. I had so much swelling I could not wear my normal size so had to waist money for one shoe that I tossed after swelling went down. It's worth a try.

Hi. I agree with the comment about selling single shoes. You should give it a try.
Great pieces in that first bag!!
I have been doing pretty well on etsy with table runners and placemats- FYI ($12-15)
Also, I believe we are in the same area (local) I would be interested to know what this sale was
You are so positive even with those facial expressions. Making lemonade out of lemons. I'm cracking up through this whole thing. There is all this crap but theres some ok, it's ok I maybe can sell this or that errr maybe its cute lol lol lol
So fun! Would love more of these videos!
I loved the excitement of mystery bags! I wish our local thrifts did this. 😊
New Sub thought it was a lot of fun watching what you pulled out. The shoe issue kinda sucked but guess that goes with the mystery 😂😂😃
You can sell single shoes for amputees I have heard, never done it myself but look it up
We appreciate you Ashley. 🎇🎆🌠
More bags, please! Love your videos..
Oh get more! I'm looking forward to an update video on how much you actually sold
Get more bags it was fun watching you, you have amazing videos and are very funny
That's so fun get more bags
You'd be surprised on Cat & Jack sometimes! Always worth checking the dresses. Some of the pieces can hit blogger favorite status with the mommy bloggers and go for $100+

@@EyeForProfit Just lay out some cardboard and dump them out, then run 😂
I really enjoyed this video and would like to see more of these. I think you did well. I was trying to think what you can do with the items you don't want for your business. Its always the things that you think wont sell that do. You should pick 3 items out of the stuff you passed on and try to sell them lol
You can sell a single shoe. Amputatees, post polio persons have to buy pairs even though they might only be able to wear one.
Grab Bags ~ Thats pretty fun and yes you could make $$$ here
The mystery bags are fun. Kind of like doing the goodwill blue boxes or thredUP DIYs. Yep, hit and miss
I think it was a score! You got some great things to make a great profit! It could have been all junk clothes with rips and holes.
More mystery bags!!! 🥳
Yes, get more
You can wash and give the blankets to the animal shelter
Maybe divide the leftovers into men's bags and women's bags and drop them off at a shelter were they can be used. Then pillows and blankets for animal shelters.
