I have just started maybe 3 months ago and a ton of items I bought when I first started are selling now. Thanks for showing that sometimes it takes a little time for it to sell. The profits are worth it though. I appreciate you taking the time to educate on what does sell. Even if it takes a little while.
Great video. Like to hear what sold and how long. I have been doing this for over 2 years and it always surprises me what sells on a daily basis. Somethings are as you predict but many are not. But the great thing is the majority of things do sell.
I sell designer items with Ebay. I worked directly with an ebay rep to ensure that my listings didn't get pulled. I requested a review of each listing. My take away from the process is to have clear, crisp pictures that show every side of the item inncluding closeups of all logos or makings. Spend your 12 pictures proving the item is authentic. My goal was to avoid being turned in for selling a fake and getting suspended on Ebay. When you sell Chanel, Cartier, LV, and other more common high-end brands you will have a target on your back...... I like to sell those items same day...within minutes if possible to avoid games. I list my items just below market value to get the item sold. My sold listings still get reported since other sellers want my listing gone from Ebay and EBay will pull it.... but I got it sold and EBay won't give me a strike because my pictures prove authenticity. I make significantly more selling an item than my payout from The Real Real.
I love your vidoes so much, I have been thrifting for almost 3 years and you inspire me so much. Thanks for giving us small timers on this side hustle a lot of usable info and tons of hope!!!
So grateful for the honest information. I immediately subscribed to your channel. I am just starting out and and I found this video very informative. Thank you 😊
Wow. As the gal said below you always glow in your videos doing reselling videos. Inspiring the worlds doctors and nurses. I am trying to encourage the hopeless ones...
Love your videos! I have been binge watching them! I’ve learned so much. Can you tell me how you come up with each items shipping cost? Do you weigh every single item as you’re listing it?
Just want to say how much I enjoy your videos and energy! You’ve been an inspiration for me to start my own eBay store 😊 Question for you: If you had to guess, what percent of your sales are from Best Offer? I’m debating adding it to all my items but then I wonder what my Buy It Now prices should be. Thank you as always for all the awesome insight!!
since my source is goodwill bins, and my average cost of an item $1.50, I price my items low, to sell faster and it works. I am too chicken to pay more than that, w/out knowing if it sells or not eventually. I started in February, investing in two Walls workwear jumpsuits insulated, paid $70 for both, after checking sell thru rate - 110%, prices 75 each, and they are still sitting. Weird. Anyways, after that fail, and couple more of investing higher into sourcing, I decided to go with bins, and never got disappointed. Tons of PRL items, a lot of cashmere and wool, price them low - sell very fast.
Really like the way u structure ur videos and the way u speak explaining all ur options... Y dnt u also buy those items by wallmart thats on clearance and send to amazon seeing u have an account pls do a video like that jus to change it up... Richie sells see his videos as a guidance perhaps
🌺. Thank You for all your ver helpful information. I have been selling high end beauty products for just over a year, but they are bulky, not easy to ship. So I am thinking about purchasing clothing items. So I really appreciate all your tips on what brands sell best for you. Thanks again :). Have a Awesome Day!
I really learn alot from your videos about brands. I'd love to do this but my husband saw all the bins full of clothing behind you in your video and he quickly quashed that plan. Do you always have that much clothing? Do you ever just do a huge dump of like-sized/styled items for a flat price to make room for new stuff incoming?
Thanks for the follow up! Love seeing what sold and for how much! I’m curious how you figure out shipping. I noticed several of your items sold with $6.00 shipping… they seem like they would be too big or heavy for that price. I’m curious what delivery service you are using on EBay. Thanks!
I’m thinking she probably does the same thing I do when it comes to shipping. If I think an item will cost me around $10.00 to ship I will charge a flat fee for shipping that item. Basically split the cost. Sometimes I’m off by a dollar or two so sometimes I make a extra couple bucks & other times I pay a little extra. I find it helps me as a seller to split shipping costs. My items sell faster this way. But other times I will do free shipping if it’s less than 12 Oz. I can send the item first class & that is usually less than $5 bucks
How did you get ungated for Nintendo? Amazon has opened up many many things to me, but still closed to many things. Things like DVDs (believe it or not), Sony, Panasonic, Nintendo, video games still cannot.
Great video! Thank you - question about your shipping - > Do you like to provide a flat rate shipping fee to your buyers or do you prefer ebay to calculate the full shipping cost for the buyer?
I always enjoy your content and your thrifting finds. In Ohio we aren’t that lucky to have the brand names you find. How large is your inventory and are you trying to increase or stay at the level you are.
Sorry if I was being too personal with my question. I work and sale part time and I personally don’t want to grow outside of my space I’ve created in my basement. I currently have 790 inventory, I think 1000 will be pushing it for me. I have to be very picky with my inventory because of my limited space, which I am finding to be very hard with brand choices here in Ohio. Right now I’m working on replacing my solid items with higher return items . Big challenge for 2022.
Have you done any videos on the real real to explain more about it. I've never heard of it. So wondering how it works. I'm trying to look up but weird stuff pops up.
I have an under armour jacket with tags that has been sitting for years for me :( but yet I sold some used biker shorts for women by under armour and they sold right away for $20 Unrelated, but do you use a P.O. Box for your return address?
Ashley- are all your sales on eBay? Last year I moved all my items over from Posh and just stuck to EBay. I’m noticing that items that aren’t mall brands don’t sell at all for me. The higher price items get lots and lots of attention but don’t sell. People want everything for 12.00! Any suggestions?
Hi Ashley you are so awesome thank you so much is it okay to set off for my Watchers why do I feel like a rude or something I really want to send offers but I don't know why I feel like that's rude is that strange?I thank you for being my biggest inspiration we learn everyday as you know doing eBay
@@HustleatHomeMom I suppose it's the same in thrift stores as department stores. The larger sizes are always gone! Thanks for the interesting report on comps vs. actual sales!
I have a question about how you measure clothes. For pants, do you measure the waist and the inseam only or do you measure hips and pant leg opening and from waist to cuff? Also, do you do 30 day buyer pays returns for all of your sales? Do you have very many returns? Thanks you
Thank you for sharing! Can you please tell me how ebay charges their fee if you make sale after sending an offer? Do they still charge you from an original listing price + shipping ? Thank you!
So the buyer just pays the amount offered if they accept! And then eBay charges about 10% of that, but it depends on if you use promoted listings or not. 🥰🙏🏻
I have an issue with a buyer. I'm pretty new on eBay and still learning. I would appreciate any advice from people selling on eBay. I sold a pair of Adidas. The size was correct as I had sold same pair of sneakers a few months ago and my mother has same size and she tried these sneakers and confirmed that they are true to the size and had no issues with previous buyer. Listing had multiple pics including size label. The buyer sent message saying that the shoes are at least two sizes larger and she suspects that these are not real Adidas. I know that they are authentic as I purchased them at Burlington. My policy no returns. Also this buyer messaged me a week prior to this purchase asking if the these are authentic adidas. Buyer wants me to do either exchange which is not an option or refund as these are not as described. I feel like buyer is scamming me. Any suggestions?
Have her open a return, and ship the item back. If she actually sends them back, just see what you get back in return. If she never opens the return or never ships it back, no problem.
👀 this was a fun find for me! I am not sure if it's real or not, but I am scared to get it authenticated so I'm just going to pretend it's real for now 🤣
I do, but for some listings I have the option for the buyer to select international shipping directly from me. I can't afford to do this for heavy items, but for lightweight things it works great!
If you ever do any charitable causes of justice for patients nationwide or worldwide or for acid attack victims or human trafficking victims given you are a mother i hope the world sees it..!!
thank you for doing a sold video......too much emphasis is done on "what items will sell for" and we never see the follow up. Thank you!!!

Good sales! It’s nice to know the before and after and how long it took to sell.
Thank you for making this video. It was so helpful to see what your latest finds sold for and how long items took to sell. Please do more.
I was looking for the three’s company series and it’s $160 on Amazon and $30 on eBay!
Great video - love the follow up and seeing what sold- especially that giant Sundance haul
Love these follow up videos xand did that expensive dress sell ?
Can you do a video of how you take your photos and tools used ? And how you edit pics

I bring home lots of flawed items also. The lighting is never as good in the thrift as the photography lighting 😥
Great video.
Love your channel. I’m going back to school full time and stoked to amp up my eBay selling. How do you ship your unboxed shoes?
Thank you! I ship them in a padded flat rate if they fit, but if not, I put them in a large tyvek bag :)
