- s/v Cloudy Bay (Hallberg-Rassy 54) has a rough windward sail north into the Grenadine islands. First island, Carriacou, is very local and quite laid back compared to Grenada main island. We hired a scooter for a day to see the sights. Sandy Island is a jewel in the sea, next to Carriacou island. It is a thin strip of sand with palm trees, a reef in front and a crystal blue water anchorage behind. Just the sort of island you would imagine in the Caribbean.
I must say again " This is the best channel on the tube, period ." I've watched your whole series about three times now. Your camera work is just incredible and your so lucky to have such a beautiful First Mate. I just love how you narrate as your going along and your dry humor that you have to pay attention to or you'll miss it. I'm really enjoying your trip. Thank you again for sharing.
And we must say again :) we love your comments. Thanks! We will be trying to catch up on more video in the coming days

Why is the flag 3/4 red and 1/4 Union Jack?
That the way the British maritime flag it ... Its call an ensign
sadly the LADY JJ. sank on JUNE 6th.2020....the captain was rescued by local fishermen....he was the only person aboard.!!
peedee francis: it didn’t look the most seaworthy of supply boats!
Half way through, and am totally disgusted with the amount of f.....g plastic rubbish on that gorgeous, otherwise unspoilt, beach😕😢😤
Claire, yes human debris on the windward beaches is really terrible makes you realise just what a global "plastic waste" problem we have in the Oceans. But 99% of people wont know this this because they never see anything other than cleaned beaches on resorts they holiday on.
Sail Cloudy Bay
I realised this 10 years ago , when I went with my sons to visit the Greek island of Zakynthos, where they were born.
I married and lived there for 8 years, when the island was 'undiscovered '!
We found what used to be beautiful beaches full of people and discarded rubbish😢😤
Plus the plastic bags washed up😢😤😤😤😤
Goodness knows what it's like now!
The 'modern trend' is to buy drinks in plastic bottles, and pre packed food, etc., without any thought about where it will end up!
But all the time looking for an 'unspoiled holiday place'!😕
All love, and best wishes, Claire, Berlin 😘 😘 ✌ 👍
