Great video shooting as a Couple. That was interesting.
Thanks! Definitely a nice way to spend a day!
Great vid, glad to actually see someone who doesn't live at elevation post their challenge. Congratulations on keeping all your arrows as well, I would suspect they compensated for shorter ranges with all the tight shots. You two did great, and seeing a shooter(s) new to the sport take on such a task has got to be an encouragement to other new shooters feeling overwhelmed by such a challenge. Well done!
Thank you! It was a great experience and we plan to do it again this year!
awesome scenery cool vid , nice to see normal people shooting rather than the BRO crews we see so often well done.
Thanks, it was a great time. Appreciate the support!
Props to you for traveling to these events. Just got into archery and im shocked they dont have an event here in Oregon
Thanks! It seems many people wish there was one somewhere in the Pacific Northwest. Montana or Utah aren't too far, though! Worth the drive!
Good shooting guys
Will be watching for more
Thanks! We appreciate the support!
Interested in the setup for the back of your Osprey pack that holds the arrows. Is it just an arrow tube in there?
Good eye, we did have a small arrow tube that I put in the sleeve for the water bladder. I also put a rubber band around them so that they did not rattle around, but it was loose enough so that I could still pull a single arrow out. A piece of PVC pipe from your local hardware would work just as well!
great stuff, I am just starting out and most of the highlight vids I have watched are crazy up/down elevation and really long shots... several of these are at least in the plausible range
Definitely. It really comes down to what course you sign up for as there are at least four options per location. Generally the Leupold and Yeti courses are shorter and more manageable. Tons of fun regardless!
What bows are you using?
I am shooting a Bowtech Realm SS and my wife has a Bowtech Eva Shockey (the older version).
that woman should not be making archery videos, horrible form. look at her bow arm, elbows bent, shaky hold. her draw arm is so dramatic , elbow high like some type of animation princess archer. so cringe
Appreciate the feedback. Everyone has to start as a cringeworthy novice and improve. Professional archers too... She was just a beginner in this video and has improved since. We have lengthened her draw and worked on several aspects of her form. But, thanks for taking the time to watch and comment.
She should absolutely be making archery videos. What better way to see what needs improvement than to make videos, watch yourself, and get feedback. We all start somewhere. This video makes me want to go to these events with my wife even though we're beginners. Hopefully we don't run into people like you though.
@@rkkong couldn't agree more! Trust me, the are worth it even as beginners!
She sure should and I’m glad they did make this video, I considered it great entertainment and definitely thumbs up.
@@miked8227 Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
