    Let me know when you guys incorporate AVC into your head units. Once you have that I'll buy 2 of them.

    So you add speaker pods to a detachable king-tour pack right? What aftermarket speaker pods did you use or can you suggest some good aftermarket speaker pods that will fit most of your speakers? I would like some that I don’t have to modify to get a 6 1/2 inch in.

      If you have a 1998-2013 style king tour pack I suggest the hog tunes pods, you will need to modify them for a 6.5 but they are the best option

    Will it still work if you keep a ton of stuff in there all the time? Mine is rarely empty.

      Just my two cents and only a theory but you could leave space where the port hole is to let that little woofer breathe.

    Will i get same results with the 5.25

    • @volunteeraudio
      @volunteeraudio  27 днів тому

      Not really, the 6.5” plays lower frequencies and is recommended

      I actually just did this with 5.25 and it did make an audible difference. I just ordered amp and 6.5 but was curious on the smaller speakers.

      @@ericschwentker5203. I have no issue with the 5.25. They sound the same as the 6.5. I have the 5 25 hogtunes front and rear with soundstream 1200 watt amp. Just as loud as anything I've seen

    I have a tour pax liner inside of my tour pax, will this make a difference? I would think the liner would defeat the purpose

    • @volunteeraudio
      @volunteeraudio  9 місяців тому +2

      It’s about allowing the speaker to share the larger air space, you would also create a hole on the liner

    Do you drill just one speaker hole &/or both pod speakers.

    • @volunteeraudio
      @volunteeraudio  9 місяців тому +1

      You drill this port hole on each pod

    Another great informative video Jay! Do you need to remove the speaker from the pod or commence drilling?

    • @volunteeraudio

      I would remove the speaker before drilling

    If upgrading to the new Soundstream from the factory radio does my amp gains have to be adjusted? I currently have the PP amp with your infinity kappa kit with lids. Flashed 6 boom. Package from VA.
