Sounds like the new Teg Type S from the factory. :) A huge improvement, great work. edit: Sorry, I meant to say it sounds even BETTER than the new Teg Type S.
@@slyarsenal Its not loud in the cabin at all unless you're romping on it. I can still speak on the phone comfortably. Windows down produces a lot more noise in the cabin than the exhaust does so there's no issue whatsoever. Obviously it will be even quieter when valve is closed. Theres virtually no drone whatsoever.
@M M Awesome thanks for the info. I've got to wait 20months for mine to arrive lol. I'm from Sydney, Australia. Demand here is insane for this vehicle, but I guess that's a worldwide problem. Only 600 vehicles in the country for 2023. We only got 1200-1300 FK8 models over its 3-4yr span
Congratulations on getting allocated! We agree, the stock setup is an upgrade from the FK8, however Milltek have done a great job designing the 3 equal tips.
It sounds very similar to fk8. I was looking for some changes in sound. And I found 😁. Milltek non res 💥😊. When im starting engine dors are always open 😁
It’s hard work to get 15:03 a great sound out of a turbo 4 and whilst I appreciate Milltek make great quality systems, there’s not enough of an improvement and so I’d rather stick with the OEM Honda system which IMO sounds ok albeit quieter. Additionally from the clip it still sounds as though the interior has the Honda piped in through the speakers sound although I may be wrong. I am lucky to have one of these coming this month in Championship White and so far I’ll be keeping the exhaust standard.
Congrats on getting allocated Harry. I challenge you to actually say this when you get it... "IMO sounds ok albeit quieter" -- 'silent' is the word you'll use.
@@johnnytegiwa Hi Johnny. You may well be right! I’m trying to tell myself that a great engine and exhaust sound isn’t everything and I’ll be just stealthy instead 😂
Is it legally approved to drive on the open road in the EU in any of the configurations offered? Is the documentation provided to prove it? Is the closing and opening valve controlled from the original car dashboard system (R-mode or R-mode exhaust selected from individual mode?) Any sound testing done inside the vehicle (db)? Does it cause "drone sound" inside it? Thanks
Hi, if you're a resident of an ECE country you would need the ECE approved system. In regards to the valves they're variable valve openings so they open after 3.5k revs, also they open more and quicker in R mode, however we don't know the exact percentages on that. There is minimal drone inside the car as John explains within the video, unfortunately we don't have exact db readings.

Finally a new civic type r that doesn't sound like a vacuum cleaner
This typeR is so much more easier to window tint then the previous model.. Thank you Honda.

Stock this car is dead silent. No noise whatsoever. I have this on my US Type R thanks to milltek here and it’s absolutely glorious. (Non resonated)
How does it sound when you're on bluetooth speaking to someone on the phone? Do you get much droning or noise interference on your calls?

I want this exact sound for my FL5
Get mine in June and I really like the idea of the 3 equal sized tips, the OEM ones just don't look right.
Nothing looks right with three center exhaust tips lol.

Will you guys be making an exhaust for the 2024 Integra Type s?
Hi mate is this just the exhaust - no downpipe?
Definitely gonna get this when I pick mine up😂
Yeaaaaaaa ima need to buy that…
Please do a video on how to turn the fake engine sound off. Thanks
Sounds like a golf 7 gti
Wow 😮

Any way to turn the fake exhaust sound from the speaker off ?
is there any power loss if i get the resonated version over the non reso?
The new type r amazing from interior wise, goofy looking from the outside

@tegiwa Thanks for replying. Do are you like an authorized dealer or something?
Also any drone on the highway for the non res exhaust option? Thanks!
@@everymangamer1608 Yes, we're a Milltek dealer, and there is minimal drone on highways.
Miltek should have created valve system for fk8😢
Is the Milltek non-resonated UK compliant?
Hi, yes it is.
sounds like the ecoboost mustang ngl
That beep is so annoying in GT7 😅
why most of drivers bluring the odometer?
damn i cant at all imagine why that might be the case in a world with speed limit laws
Got it
Any drone with the non-resonated?
Not that we have experienced. In our opinion this provides the perfect note when putting your foot down and is perfect for daily driving too.
how’s the drone while driving?
Minimal drone from our experience.
Is this Milltek in Derbyshire?
Yes it is.
@@tegiwait even says at the start where it is 🙄🤣👍
Is this with a stock down pipe ?
Yes, it is.
Does it have sound controller on?
Yes, take apart the passenger side dashboard to get to it. I did it, not terrible just need some plastic pry tools
