I loved the tutorial! Your work is so awesome! I just love that there are content makers like yourself to show us how far we can take our collections! Absolutely badass! Can’t wait for the next video!
That looks SOOOO incredible, especially compared to the Black series version. It'd be super cool to see you mod the throne room Boba Fett. Personally, that's the one I use but I hate a lot of the choices Hasbro made. Thanks so much! Love the vids
Glad you enjoyed it. The Throne room fig is great but his articulation is still a bit hinder by all the plastic robes. I do really like the Tython Jedi Ruins version actually.
Wow, that is absolutely amazing what you did there! Good thing Mezco does not own the 1/12 Star Wars license...I would be so broke. May attempt this. I own the Hot Toys post-Sarlacc version, but this would also be very nice to go with it (I do not mind the different scales). Great tutorial, seems it is doable.
Agreed unwound buy everything if Mezco made SW figures. Of course when you make a Fett like this it’s about as much as a Mezco figure it at least pretty close.
Looks great man! I’ve been wanting to do this build! Currently working on retrofitting a 2010 jango slave 1 to fit a black series Jango Fett … I’m gonna also make a custom kid boba fett from a bad batch omega… same face basically!
Fabric glue also works great for these type of customs, you can be a little more heavy handed with it and it dried clear so you don’t have to worry about that. I’d also get a cheap fabric cutter for cleaner cuts on the t shirts and pants. Other than that great work dude!
I’ve done fabric glue but not convinced it holds as well. It’s cleaner but takes longer to dry so I opt for gorilla gel glue to move quickly and make things as permanent as I can. But yes you can’t just lay it on thick.
Great video. Truly a work of art. Just picked up 2 drawman figures for customs based upon this video. Do you have a female base body recommendation for black series scale? Having a tough time finding a good one. Thanks.
Hey Southp! So I'm trying to make one of this with more like Hot Toys style scratch build, aiming to be superior to yours :P Only thing I'm stuck with is the arm gauntlets. How did you attach it? My lower arms on ANT-12 Muscular body is shorter than the gauntlets, and could barely fit inside if I drill a hole. So I either replace the lower arms with extension or do some magic with a drilled gauntlet.
Hi I’ve never worked with the Ant12. It seems a bit too muscular and that’s why it won’t fit I the gauntlet. What you probably have to do is dremmel down the forearms so they are skinny and will fit into the gauntlets.
@@southp2470 As I've made some progress, seems like the lower arms are bit shorter than should be, so I can keep it as whole, put it into a drilled gauntlet and attach the hand joint few mm lower. Or just make an adapter replacement. Yes its bulky a bit, so ad Biba. But ill get a notaman skinny and see how it looks. Any experience with NT02?
@@RoyalPredator yup love Notaman. They are taller than Black Series so just be conscience of that. I use them for slim super heroes or other movie characters.
They are getting a bit harder to find now. Big Bad Toystore still had some - or at least the all black one (I think it's called Pocket Elite Obsidian) and it's actually better because you don't need a flesh tone body.
Because of you you inspired me to make my own customs so I decided to make my own custom din jarin and I'm loving it thanks for all the tips and tricks it's really helped a whole lot and it just makes customization a whole lot easier 👍
I like when I get bored and find channels like this. I actually have an unused Boba Fett model kit I forgot about. So that's an extra bonus.
This thing looks absolutely amazing Paul!! Thanks for demonstrating how to make it!!
So glad you liked it. Thanks! 🙏🏻
Great find with the elastic! Both the rope for robes and the thick strips… this strips look perfect!
Yeah those things worked out well. Plus those elastic strips can be cut without any fraying which makes them easy to work with.

Really appreciate that comment. It takes a long time to make the figure and even longer to make the video. Glad you liked it!
My God, what a great work. Simply amazing! 👏👏👏
Thank you very much!
The best Boba fett 1/12 scale ever good job
That is absolutely sick, I thought I killed it modding my typhon and throne room boba but I graciously bow before yours
I’m sure yours is great. It’s all about sharing ideas.
Any Boba project is a good Boba project!!
Dude I need to see your mod, I've been looking for one
Figure looks amazing just think he should be a little thicker/ a little bigger belly
Totally agree, but chose to keep him leaner for better articulation.
This came out amazing ! Wish i had time to do this myself but with my job and two kids would never be able to find the time 😅

This OP 🙌🙏
Wow love this
Thanks!!
Nice work
Great Custom! Gonna try it myself just wanna know where you got the pants and shirts from
Both from eBay.
Wow, great job! Thanks for the tutorial!
Thanks glad you liked it

Thanks!!

It’s hard to find blank females. The best may be a marvel legends.
Great work bringing this figure to life! 👏🏾 but you didn't mention the headsculpt & where you got it from?,again nice custom!👍
That was from a guy on Instagram called @fett.clone
I found that we had some of the same exact ideas 😂
Stunning
Thank you!
Amazing custom bro! Would you ever consider making a Return of the Jedi style Boba?
Definitely going to do an Original Trilogy Fett next. Either ESB or ROTJ!
Looks wonderful
Thank you
Where can I get the elastic strapping for the shoulders? I'm new in customization field 😅
I found it in the sewing section at Walmart
What is the link to the underbody you used can’t find it on Amazon
Do you mean the base body? It’s called a Drawman 1/12. Maybe try eBay?
@@southp2470 yes, thank you

Do you have a video or pic in compairson?
What I've seen others do is cut a small thin piece of thin metal or tin for the damage on the jet pack.
That’s a great idea!!
Great video man, it’s appreciated.
Cool. Glad you enjoyed it.
Awesome work 👌🏾
Thanks!!
I’m gonna try this but in the design of original trilogy fett
That’s coming up next!
This is so dope man thanks for doing this!!!!
Amazing. Thanks
Where can I order the draw man from

🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Super fire
How did you make the armor
It’s from the Bandai model kit as shown at the beginning of the vid.

Do you sell any of your customs or do you take on any commissions?
Thanks for asking but I just don't have the time to do commissions, and the prices for the parts, etc would get quite costly.
Would you ever consider doing commissions? I would happily pay for this
Am too lazy can I buy?
you should modify his right gauntlet since it's not the same as the esb one
I used the model kit pieces.
@@southp2470 just saying that you should modify his gauntlet to make it more accurate
Too skinny
