Semaphore is a great beach and an iconic part of Adelaide’s maritime history, but the best beaches are further south, Southport, Moana, Aldinga and Sellicks. Perhaps you could do a video on those beaches sometimes.
What I miss most about living in semaphore?... People, shops, events! I miss the silly kite event always I remember the mermaid and the octopus!..Still I miss the sense of community. Thank you for this video.
That's awesome. Great to see a little taste of what Semaphore has to offer. Lots of nice coffee shops and bakeries, and of course the famous Soto's fish and chip shop...Be warned there are always queues and it pays to ring ahead. After your meal Club Vegas is always popular and for the young ones the Palis is a 5 min walk away from the main street. We hope to see you soon..
My dad was born up past the hotel it's a hospice now,my Nana & grand father had the semaphore kiosk when it was on the jetty,it burnt down.my history,I'm so far away from it all now.

I have been there so many times and I'm moving from sydney to Adelaide in about 3 weeks

Do this video again now you wouldn’t recognize the beach it is gone ! Has become a complete jungle ! So sad 😢
The problem with this beach is the vast amount of seaweed that frequently chokes it.
