- Francesca's opinion about street fundraising has changed completely and we hope you see why. Francesca had visited Syria before the war and images of the current conflict inspired her to become a street fundraiser. We find her enthusiasm contagious, what do you think? You can have a look at other inspiring stories here www.oxfam.org.uk/inside-oxfam/street-fundraiser
Let us know what you think below!
I wanted to know more about how to talk to people, what to say, the body language and all that to become a good fundraiser too. This video was way too short :c
I worked at Fundraising in Mexico and Canada.
Fundraising goes against human rights. they will literally, fired you if you don’t hit the weekly goal I was not bad at the job. I consider myself to be Good at Fundraising but they put so much pressure to the point where they put a tool in your mental health and well-being so for everyone thinking To work at Fundraising guys, this job is cruel . The people are actually extremely nice . My coworker were amazing and I even meet a great coworker that became a good friend of mine .
However the organizations put crazy pressure on you to the point that you actually want to loos your mind .
I want this job

What they are doing is collecting a fee for each sign up. Is Mcdonalds noble for selling food to the homeless that would be hungry otherwise? Is Mcdonalds noble for providing a warm place for the homeless to warm up while they buy their food?
Francesca is inspiring
Thank you for your kind comment, Sarah! We love fundraisers like Francesca, Oxfam couldn't do its important work without their passion and drive. All the best, Claire
Fair play to her tough job
She is not inspiring. Any chugger will tell you they hate their job. I hate my job as a street fundraiser and everyday i wish i was dead
@@HughBrian34 Why do you go there then? It’s okay if you don’t like it, what about some other job for you?
Street fundraising is about energy, courage, helping, laughing, contributing… If you don’t like it, again, why do it?
