Will do my best to get Fitchburg line footage whenever I can - the line is a bit of a hike from where I live so it’ll take me a little while to gather some clips
Yes, I’m happy not one HSP seen in an almost 27-minute video. Only GP40s and F40s. Also, cool compilation showing all of MBTA’s Railroad Crossings on the Newburyport/Rockport Line. Also, this must be the longest video you’d ever uploaded on your channel, right? I haven’t seen any other videos that are almost 27 minutes long. There must be a lot of Crossings on all five of the Commuter Rail’s North Side branches.
I think on several occasions I’ve posted videos over 40 minutes long. But it’s also important to note that this isn’t every crossing on the Newburyport/rockport line - these are just some of my favorite clips. There are over 20 crossings not featured in this video I believe
21:05, RARE SET. All single-deck coaches. 25:12, Another RARE SET. Three DOUBLE DECKERS. A 2005 K-car right behind a 1991 K car and another 2005 one sandwiched between two single-deckers.
21:05, Wait, hold on, what was 1636 doing pulling a revenue train? It can’t have returned to service, it’s WAY TOO OLD to be back in service. Sorry, I’m confused. Was that even a revenue train? Looked like it. Waaa, don’t leave us 1636. 😢😭😪💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔 Keep on fighting the good fight for survival, even though it’s 36 years old this year. Hard to believe they’ve been in service for this long. It’s crazy and unimaginable. 😮😱😧 All 1600s are not in passenger service anymore and have not been since July 11, 2024, meaning they’re all retired and a majority having already been scrapped in Everett as of January 22, 2025. 1650 and 1652 are the latest two cars to meet the scrappers torch and say bye-bye forever. They’ll be missed, R.I.P 1990-2025. Again sorry man.
You might’ve missed my comment before, but the information about all 1600’s being out of service is false. Only 8 have been scrapped as of now and the 1637 and 1643 have been in service as recently as last month. The video with 1636 in this compilation was filmed last May
Really enjoyed this video! I live near the Newburyport/Rockport line so this video was fun to watch!
That’s great to hear ! Thanks for commenting and I’m glad you enjoyed
Nice video!
Thanks again dude 🫡

Do the Fitchburg line next if you can

1121 sounded a little bit odd, Lol. 😂😆

1121 sounds like it’s about to break down or something, just my guess. It shouldn’t sound like that at all.

OMG sorry man. 😢 I didn’t look too well and I didn’t see any dates in the video when these clips were taken. My fault. 🤦
No worries, not including the dates was my bad. Just wanted to make sure you heard more updated info
