thank you, Nick! The Moss/ water idea has been a game changer! Plants certainly respond! (I appreciate the knowledge - and the humor, oh - insightful fruit fly!)
Loving that Australia’s Lisa. Your is so bright and full Hope mines grows up to be as pretty as yours. One of mines is Reverting hope I’ll be able to correct it
Let me know if you have any questions. They like lots of light and heat. I had mine in direct sun on a warm porch before I brought them in. Of course transition them to wherever you want to put them if you’re moving them. Good luck!
Your so fabulous darling, love the chanel. As a new Hoya grower I have not tried to keep my plant alive through a winter. I live 10 degrees further North than NY. My plant is in full flower and looks amazing and smells wornderful. I don't want to kill it.
Thanks. Also for saying where you are n the country and where the plant lives. What window and how close its sits to the glass and the light and its distance.
I have a crimson princess that has put out green leaves. Do I cut the notch at the last variegated leaf or at the first green leaf? And do I cut all the nodes off all the green leaves? I know .... lots of questions. But when propagating Hoyas, where do you cut them? Or does it matter?
Cut only the nodes at the base of leaves with little / no variegation When propagating I would cut at the base of the last leaf pair so you have a long length of stem to put in your propping media.
No, dry sphagnum moss, good quality. I use spagmoss brand. You should look for long strands, light color and no debris if you buy another brand. Good luck!
I’m binge watching all your vids and can see how fast your channel growing 👀 ! Your doing amazing♥️🌿 you offer so much info
Thanks so much 💚
Wow, a vid showing how you cut the node in your vid about a reverting variegated hoya. THANK YOU!

Glad it worked for you!
i did this cut method with my a. lisa & OMG?!!! it’s literally working on 7 leaves from the base of the plant 😝😝 THANK U 💗
Glad I could help!
Perfect video! I watched the earlier video and I too wanted to see more closely how you notched out the grow tips!
Well done!
No problem!
You seriously are good at this, I keep waiting to see your channel blow up...keep going it will happen ✨
Thank you. I’m always trying to improve. Looking forward to see what the future brings ✨💚
love the tips on starting in sphagnum and then transfer in water. I hate rooting in sphagnum because of how tangled it is at the end.
Yay! Here from the Hoya Lisa video.
Thx for sharing. 👍🏾
Thanks for coming
i love your videos nick! don't know you but i love you!!!!

Very informative. Great advice to speed the rooting process a bit.
Glad it was helpful!

Basically don't water in the winter until the leaves are slightly soft. Give it the best light in your house.
@@phytosexual Thank you so much. I just need to find some more now. :-)
Thanks. Also for saying where you are n the country and where the plant lives. What window and how close its sits to the glass and the light and its distance.
thanks :)
Hi Nick, somehow the Hoya Caudata | Rooting & Propagation video is set to private. Would you mind share it? Thank you so much!
How do you clean your leaves?? Omg your lisa is so shiny!
I don't they're just new leaves. Some I will wipe with most paper towel like my zz plant but most not really.

@@phytosexual Thank you!
Would love to know what soil mix you use for hoyas!
Just 2 parts miracle grow with 1 part perlite. That’s it. Don’t overpot.
@@phytosexual do you have good experience with miracle grow? New plant hoe here and heard mixed reviews!
Friend, could you please do a video on orchid re-potting? Pretty please?
Can we use green alive moss or need dry ? Please answer me I would really appreciate, thank you !

@@phytosexual Thank you Nick, so kind of you to reply so quick 😊
I didn´t really get why you were cutting into the node on the 'Lisa'? Why would that change the reversion of the variegation?
We get to keep the green foliage to photosynthesize, but force growth from the variegated part.
@@phytosexual smart!
The one you had in the cup with moss, I noticed it looked moist. How often were you adding water to it? And how much water ?
Whenever it started to look dry honestly, depends on your environment :)
@@phytosexual oh ok makes sense. Did you just pour it with a cup or did you use a spray bottle. Love all your videos by the way
are you selling any polyneura cuttings? I am in nyc as well.
I’ve got them all lined up for family / friends / trades right now. Apologies.
Are you propagating the polyneura for sale?
Elizabeth Acosta I’ve got them all lined up for family / friends / trades right now. Apologies.
No worries thanks
