Remembering Widget - The Tame Button Quail

- For anyone wondering about Pie, she has now been moved in with my other two quails, Pop & Biscuit. She still calls for Widget sometimes, but otherwise has settled in well. x

I watch this as my sweet hen cuddles up next to my hand and computer mouse. I don't ever want to think about her passing away. It been a long time but I'm still sorry you had to lose him.

I had a quail called brownie, she was just like widget she died a few months ago but her memory is still with me
He reminds me of my Ivory. I had to have him put down too. I cried so hard, he was funny. Very tame and lovable.
Poor baby quail. He was so cute ! My Button quail died on the first May and i miss her so Much. She was tamed too and very affectionated. She loved cuddles.
Oh I'm so sorry. -_- They are such sweet little souls, I wish they had longer lifespans.
I just took a vid of my Button Quail, Poppet, sitting in my hand, watching the vid of little Widget. Poppet loved it!

My heart is broken knowing how you must be suffering this loss, and I am weeping with my own grief because I adored Widget even though I didn't know him outside of watching his wonderful videos. I am a believer in the Afterlife for ALL LIVING THINGS, and I know Widget's journey was one of peace, serenity and joy because of the splendid life you gave him. Aw, I'm so sorry. Knew it was coming, but that doesn't make it any easier. Putting him out was the best decision if poor guy was suffering. Hugs, CC.

Once i had a chicken it was my tame and one day it was killed by a cat it was really heart breaking.
I'm so sorry. 😢 Free-roaming cats are the worst.
