I have hunted for many years and hope to still be able to get out after a moose at 84 years.
You have some great videos on here, but this one tops them all. As you said, far from a record moose, but just to see an 84 year old out doing something that he truly enjoyed is the best part of it.

@@HOTRhuntinontherock Myself and my hunting buddy are actually heading to St. Georges area on Saturday morning. Got an either sex and a bear licence again this year. Even though we live in the St. John's area, been hunting out on the west coast for 7 years now. Enjoy the country and lots of nice bulls in around Grand Lake.

There should be a prize given out each year for the most cowardly act by a so-called "hunter''. This one would win hands down. What a gutless effort - hide behind a rock and shoot this magnificent animal from hiding. What great big balls this pathetic apology for a human has got. Disgusting.
moose populations are very healthy in Newfoundland. You can’t just go out and shoot a moose. You enter a pool and have to get a tag. It’s also a good way to manage moose. I know your a pretty stupid person but a ecosystem has a thing called a carring capacity, if moose never got hunted it would just increase the number of moose who died in the winter. Also moose are not native to Newfoundland and a full grown moose and has no natural predators. There’s nothing wrong with hunting wild animals especially to put meat in the freezer. Also what do you expect hunters to do? Run up on a moose and fight it? What a stupid comment

Huntin On The Rock , Newfoundland is where I am from, and we have always been referred to as a "ROCK". Do ya see the shape of Newfoundland in the skull of the moose?
