Now I want you all to know I'm not like, raving mad about the cyst. This video is not a stab at DE or anything, it's just my wukong prime did get infected and perfectionist me is like "Ok 1. Not making wukong vid yet and 2. This reaaally needs to change" so I made anger video.
I actually understand and I agree it's odd so many years later the seven day bump is still a random unavaoidable happening. There should by now be a vaccine feature added for semi permeant immunity. Great video.

I AGREE! It has been a lifetime since that God awful mechanic was introduced. Now it applies to ALL my frames regardless if I was with another infected frame or not.

@@AverageJ03Gaming nope, if you use it to make a charger it will grow back, because you're lancing it and squeezing the juice on the egg. That's not removing it. You are only immunized against it when you sit in the chair a second time once it is fully grown.
The Cyst is absolutely necessary in order to keep the fashionframe meta in check. Without the one-week friction timer the meta would evolve much too quickly and eventually implode upon itself, leaving only Pink Rhinos and Clown Vabans. Then at our moment of vulnerability the red-black legion of Wraith Acolytes would rise again as it did in the past, until the Cyst was placed upon the necks of our newborn, to humble us in our search for the ultimate fashion.

Worst part is once you're new warframe is infected, you still probably want to use it, but in doing so you are spreading it further. Continuing the plague of pink.
Doesen't spread till its fully infected but people are too lazy to pop it off.
So everyone just wait and then get rid of them all at the same time. Then no on will have the stupid cysts *S T O N K S*

Not the cysts are contageous, but the fear of getting one.

The main problem is that when you cure the cyst I hear you can't re-infect yourself unless other players have it. So I hold onto it, in case DE ever adds a new helminth variant, like helminth kavats or something. I too want a way to hide it. :(
Not even they can reinfect you, the chair is where you get vaccinated. Once its gone on a frame its G O N E gone
I heard some say Nidus is supposed to be re-infectible, but it seems not.
I rather like the infectious nature of this thing, but I hesitate to vaccinate ALL my frames, in case I want another plague puppy.
BTW, Kavats are immune to infestation. That's why they live on the Derelict.
I mean... you could always rebuild (or buy) a mag just so she can get infected.

Do to complains we changed the way the Helmith Cyst behaves in Warframe:
-It now can be moved like a sigil.
-It uses your secondary energy color.
That's where we learn the Helminth and the cyst have a role in the new war
It senses you are of like flesh. It is confused... *WHY DO YOU DEFILE US?*
Would be neat if the cyst could maybe be used to perhaps make more infested stuff. Like say a infested Moa or sentinel (even though we have the useless Djin). Better yet, maybe upgrade infested weapons or something, or perhaps create NPC guardians to help you out on missions. Simple ideas I’m just throwing out there to make the cyst be more useful than Nyx or Ember

I give this video the biggest like ever! The cyst is a cyst on life itself! You would think in a civilization as advanced as the one warframe is set in, there would be a means to get rid of a cyst before its fully matured, but I guess the Orokin were too busy developing Vaubans shitty kit to be worried about a simple fashion issue... That completely contradicts the lore of the Orokin however! They were obsessed with perfection, so why allow the cyst to live on until maturity in the first place, why make vauban a turd train, why make Shy hate Mag for no freakin reason at all?! What is this life even about???!!!! AHHHHHH!!!

Apparently, lore says Kavats are immune to infestation. That's why they live on the Derelict.
Wild kavats feed on Infested, so it's safe to assume they're immune to the technocyte. I wonder if it's due to Orokin gene-edits or if it's a random mutation that appeared in the gene pool after the Empire fell and spread out across the population, allowing the now feral pets to thrive in the Derelict ships...

It's part of the spirit of the game, honestly. Wait 3~ days to craft a frame after spending over a week to accquire it, then wait another week for your space herpes immunity.

As a person who came back after 4 years to somehow find both my Excalibur and Volt infected, I can agree on its annoyance but at least not a debuff for a week

They'll stop hating you once your Ravenous field keeps the dipshit Sortie Defense operative alive. Or when your Parasitic Link boosts their power strength up the wazoo. Seven days of ruined fashion is a small price to pay for having a good tank-DPS-support frame on your team.
Only if you kept the cyst, Nidus does not infect on his own. You need to be carrying a cyst for that to happen. Unlike other warframe though, when he is inoculated he can still enter the room.

It would be nice if we could immunize our Warframes ahead of time, and if we want another Cyst - we can interact with the "chair" to inject one, even when immunized. And can remove it by repeating the same process.
The immunization keeps us from receiving it from other players. Also no 7-day wait period. Let us pop it prematurely if we don't want it.

While it was sort of the "straw that broke the camel's back", the cysts (at the time completely permanent; this was before you could get rid of them entirely) is what make me soft-quit warframe for about a year.

You must've got it real rough man, having to wait a week to prepare a skit that really sucks man. But maybe you can make the cyst one of your recurring characters were it gains it's own sentient mind :D
Played a Flash game that was a 2d puzzle game, where a big time glitch happened in the plot. At some point, a bump will start growing on your characters head. As it goes on, it becomes a second head, with some body too, and later still, is said to have broken off and run away in the night.
Later it becomes evident this somewhat clone of you is the one who tricked you into this time loop in the first place.

this is exactly why i need to take a new frame to Captura immediately before taking them into a mission, otherwise they'll be stuck in the Timeout corner for a week

I regret curing my Nidus of the cyst, cause that's the only frame I had that it actually tied in with on the whole fashion aspect.
I keep my cyst cause in the helminth chamber I named the biggest fish bob, and most of the time, I go in there just to say hi to bob.
