Ricardo was to punish people who were unga bunga'ing with win rate. So glad I was never one of those people, but even I had to just suck it up and cheese him with a level 40 Nclair at uptie 3 and a basemael at level 12 lmao. The problem is just that all of Ishmael's IDs are so slow so you can't have her intercept the counters and all the clashes. Her base ID is her fastest one (and it's still up to RNG) so yeah. Just had her tank all clashes from Ricardo and saved as many Nclair skill 3's as I could specifically for when I finally got to Ricardo on the third wave. Then I would just load up as many of them as I could on Ricardo and do like 1000 damage a turn with Nclair taking no damage since Ish was eating everything. It's important that she's at one health by Ricardo's wave so that way she can't be staggered anymore. Cheesed it first try with those two. Thankfully was only stuck on him for like maybe a week.

@xelpad2379 only because I read that he takes double damage when he has the big brother status effect, and you have to stagger him before the next turn otherwise his hair coupons skill activates and it's game over from there.
I had to cheese it with Basemael and Nclair because I didn't have any IDs who could put out the kind of damage that three Self Destructive Purges in a row can. My highest damage at the time was Kimsault or Ahabmael. I borrowed Nclair for that fight from a buddy. Not only that but their clash potential is just way lower than Nclair's.
Uptie 4 shi Ishmael saved me from this beat him in just 4 attempts and first tryed peq trio and harpoon too

Stuck on Ricardo myself right now and am commiting to the daily grind to rebuild my team from scratch. Am a free-to-play and my only team was 4/6th fatal to blunt with only one 000 ID and the only ego with some synergy being Faust's teddy bear. That said I'm not a big fan of Ricardo not because of what he represents but because of what he is. I don't think Project Moon were or are ready to accurately represent a threat of Ricardo's level considering the expectant power-creep. What's most likely: compared to later when the player is on-level he will be too powerful, too weak, or just right? Same goes for Virgilius which is probably why they may his stats in a way that could best be described as "???"
My advice is to use support Nclair, use base Ish and redirect all attacks to her, slowly defeat enemies and save Sinclair's skill 3 for clashes with Ricardo when he is in the extra stagger buff and then just repeat until the cutscene plays.This strat requires 0 investment as base version of Ishmael is the fastest one and you won't use her for damage anyway.
@@ThirstySkeleton Unfortunately while it does have 0 requirements for Ishmael it will take some time pulling Nclair. My current aim is for a burn team since I have the Liu IDs (resistant to blunt) for Mersault, Hon Liu, and Gregor. Also have Philclair though I may hold off on using him due to the weakness to fragile and demanding nature of his transformation. As for Ishmael I have her Before Team ID so I'll consider how well that works too, though I do know you can cheese the fight with her for face-tanking. Problem is Wingbeat and Base Gregor are the only two healing sources available to me so I want an Ishmael that can actually get a high SP.
Currently I was unable to EX Clear some of the previous fights in the Canto. I figure whatever team can do that should be good enough to fight Ricardo, and with Walpurgis over I'm in not rush to get lunacy.
@@vadandrumist1670 No need to pull him ,by support I meant using friend's Sinclair just add someone to the friends list who got him and then in edit team you will have third section to rent friends unit when you click Ishmael's role is to press 3 defend like I said so Nclair does 90% of the fight with how much actions he gets for being in 2 man team
@@vadandrumist1670 you can rent him from someone's who got him from your friends list and then select him in team screen, Ish is just meant to press 3 block in 2 man comp
