- The $Bigtime token just launched and is getting a lot of hype, but is this sustainable? It is a big win for early web3 gamers, but there are a lot of issues as well.
In this video I will outline Big Time and discuss some of the issues I am seeing including conflicting tokenomic documents and a very heavy focus on web3 and NFTs.
However, the gameplay is a different story. If you want to play for fun, go for it. The gameplay is one of Big times strong points IMO.

It's very interesting that only 3.5% of tokens are in circulation. Out of 5 billions tokens only 174 million is in circulation.

Before the video starts I like you have been in crypto for years and crypto games. I believe strongly that the token price will correct down in a big way and it already has started to go down. How far down will it go, too soon to tell.

Great overview, lack of transparency from bigtime aside I wish you'd go a bit more in depth on how these large payouts are being achieved. Essentially folks are leveling 1-20 then resetting progress because the token earnings are based on mob density and not difficulty, this on top of the game being extremely easy allowing folks to control multiple accounts and partying up with themselves with one keyboard and multiplying their earnings
I could look at doing a follow up with the payouts - I know some of the OGs have Space + a lot of NFTs at this point
It is NOT extremely easy. Try doing some prestige portals above level 25 and you will see...
It is impossible to play yourself at the same time unless you go really slow, which would make thatt sytem pointless, the game is very fast

I personally haven't seen it. Whether that has happened or not, isn't too big of a deal. The game isn't about NFT drops. So if someone really wants to have 6 characters running at the same time. Best of luck to them.
Profitability in this game is more so based on Jobs. Consider this game a Country. It's created it's own currency, created jobs/tasks that people perform in order to earn the Countries Currency and then has provided goods and services on where to spend that money including a currency exchange to transport that money to your own pocket.
The jobs available can range from something as simple as playing for fun and getting rewarded with an NFT drop. Some can be cheap and once in a while one that's actually worth something. For playing a fun game, that's not too bad of a reward. That's level 1 version of earning. Ive had drops range from $2.5 upwards of $400.
However, the real money is when you invest. Hourglasses can be filled with crypto when you play dungeons or Prestige Dungeons. Players are making anywhere from $15 to 35 an hour if not more Carrying multiple of these items (hourglasses) etc.... Essentially, Bigtime created a job that you can choose to do full time if not more than full time and do it wherever you have a PC and an internet connection.
Another way to make money is by Owning Digital real-estate, they range from cheap to expensive and the higher the quality and bigger the size, the higher chance you have of getting items in your digital real estate that can be dismantled and turned into Crypto. Pretty clever.
Another way is by Crafting items, Crafting NFTS (pre-selected that require materials that you do have to purchase) and then you can sell them on the market.
Another way is by playing the NFT market in the game, buy an item based on demand, buy low sell high.
Another way to make money is by owning space, owning crafting workshops, and then taking the time to invest money in materials to have big turn outs that you sell on the open market.
Long story short, there are so many stinking ways to make money with this game, coupled with how much fun it actually is, I perceive this games crypto, NFTs, profitability going even further. The funny part about it is, it's still pre-season.

Bigtime launch in the bear market which i think is a bad decision for them. Been months now but still I dont see a big potential here.
Time will tell if they made a good decision or not, but definitely an odd time to launch a token
